We struggled to get this 9 x 12 rug into position. One entire side is stained and it is way too heavy to move again (we are closer to 80 than 70). I love the rug and the fabric quality seems good but these are stains on the top edge all along the side. It is so disappointing. Any suggestions on how to clean? Additionally there are small black threads and some red throughout. Those i can live with or spend an afternoon picking out! ... show more

I’ve owned several Safeivieh rugs and they make really nice and affordable rugs. This is a heavy weight runner with a lovely, intricate high-low pile. The color is a lovely darkish blue, kind of the color of the sky at dusk. I am returning it only because it has heavy wrinkles that will NOT go down and I’ve tried everything. I’m asking to replace it with the same rug and size. And the price is amazingly low for a rug of this quality. ... show more

This is, without a doubt, the worst rug I have ever bought. It came in unacceptable condition with dark colored threads woven into its white threads, pulls from poorly threaded/woven strands, various brown dirt looking spots, and a TERRIBLE odor. The rug does look pretty, although very crinkled from shipping. It is not at all soft, but I did expect that thanks to previous reviews. The color is the dusty blue that I was seeking. Unfortunately, it stinks... badly. It has been in my garage for over a week. The first day, it permeated the entire garage with a chemical stench. Every day I have been misting it with lysol, hoping that I can keep it, but it has been over a week and the smell is only slightly better. I am actually afraid to put it in my bedroom, as I don't want to be breathing in whatever is so potent that it still has a death grip on the fibers. FWIW, I am NOT "chemically sensitive" or overly fussy about scent... thanks to a deviated septum I only have 50% sniff capacity, so this is definitely a rug issue. ... show more

At the time I bought this the specific color and size combination showed about 50% off based on the other colors. Weird as heck, but maybe they had an overstock situation? Anyway, at that price I can't believe what a great buy this is. The carpet has just enough texture to be enjoyable to walk on in socks or bare feet. In fact, your vacuum cleaner will need to be able to handle this feature. The color is fantastic. Which is a huge bonus since I was swayed by the pricing and didn't start off looking for blue.
