This rug is ~7.5 feet long. Did not roll it out yet, so not sure about width. I by accident ordered two rugs, and they are both the same measurement, so I can confirm I did not just get a "bad one". (Or did I get two bad ones?...) Other than that, I really like it. The marble color is a good neutral, not too cold, not too warm. The beige trim melts in well. The price is right. I do not notice any bad smell, as some reviewers mentioned. On the fence about keeping it, since I really wanted 8x8 (and that was already on the small side). Perhaps Safavieh should manage expectations by adding the exact measurements. I would have gotten the 9x9 in that case! As far as "easy to clean" goes - I am European and always liked this type of rug (also for carpet). It is super easy to vacuum with a European style succion vacuum, which is what we have, for our hardwood floors. Not sure how well it would withstand the US type carpet brushing vacuums. But to me it is an allergy friendly alternative to regular rugs. It can however not be cleaned with water at all. So, if you like to do that, this is probably not your rug.

I wanted a highly textured rough rug in our Primary Bedroom to add the feeling of a Tropical Retreat. It looks so “on-trend” to add layers of soft and rough. Consider the feel underfoot… this is not soft. Our feet are neither super-tough or super-sensitive so we are fine walking on this barefoot. I would describe it as “rough” but not “sharp.” The black binding really sets it off well from the floor and helps give the rug a softer edge for the transition. Love this choice!

I previously had a 5x8 rug in this room with tape down and this came short in all corners. Overall, I like this rug. Had a bit of a yellow tone to it. I am hoping with a beige couch it looks more tan than yellow. I like the texture of this rug.

I bought this rug a few weeks ago on 11/12/22. I love everything about it except the smell. It does smell strongly of hay. That being said, my family isn't bothered by the smell and don't seem to smell it as strongly as I do. It is not a chemical smell at all, it is simply hay. The rug itself is beautiful and fits in perfectly in my dining room. Because it looks so good, I am going to keep it in hopes that the smell dissipates over time.

The media could not be loaded. This is a second seagrass rug purchase for my home. It is rugged and imperfect as expected. Some of the fibers sticking up upon arrival and if not hidden under a piece of furniture, I will trim them. It is not soft underfoot because it isn’t supposed to be. It isn’t really easy to clean spills because it is a natural material and it soaks into the rug fibers quickly. We only use them in areas where we won’t likely have spills. They do hold up to cat claws wonderfully well for us. Our cats love these rugs for claw sharpening and never show any interest in our furniture so that alone is a huge plus for me. I now have the herringbone pattern and the basket weave pattern - I much prefer the basket weave but that’s personal taste. It flattened out for me within the first day of unrolling. Vacuumed immediately because of debris falling out during initial unpacking. No noticeable odor that I detected. Overall pleased with these rugs for our coastal home.

This is a GREAT rug. Such wonderful quality and just what I was looking for. Sadly, my dining chairs had a really hard time sliding on it. Color is spot on for the picture (NOTE: blue is darker than navy). For a chunky weave, it wasn't uncomfortable on bare feet. Highly recommended for areas that don't require furniture movement. I was careful to keep the packaging so returning it was simple. I DID have to go to the UPS store and not my local Kohls (like I normally do), but that wasn't too bad.
