I received the box damaged but luckily, it was only the styrofoam. The actual bench came perfect, no scuffs or scrapes. I was pleased that it was already assembled. All I had to do was take it out of the box and put it in its place. Like many of the other reviews, the wicker basket is not sturdy but has ample storage space. I bought this to go along with the coat rack as we needed a more compact width bench to replace what we had previously. They both look good together and this bench is solidly built and sturdy. It has a removable pad on top which you can remove If you prefer. The baskets are good quality also and can be removed If you also prefer for easier access to items. I'm a little impressed as I wasn't sure of the quality at this price point but I'm more than happy with not only the bench but also the coatcrack. I would purchase again from this manufacturer and would absolutely recommend this bench. A solid 4.8 stars for the better than expected quality and nice look for the price ... show more
