Love love this rug- it comes true to size. Make sure you get a non-skid pad though- slides all over on my hardwood floor! I use it for my formal dining room. Not sure how easy it will be to vac crumbs off of but I love how it looks. No rips, tears, frays etc. 2 year update! I had the rug for one year in a low traffic area- barely used dining room and it held up beautifully. Then I moved and my new dining room is in a traffic pattern. The rug started to quickly show signs of wear and unraveling. Initially I could pull the unraveled part through the underside and it looked fine. As time went on it started to look bad. Also, I have big dogs who never had any accidents... until they did. This rug is next to impossible to clean due to the deep groves so you can imagine what would get stuck in there when the dogs got sick. (Dog vomit also bleaches the natural fiber so very quickly the rug became just giant spots and it had to get thrown out). Overall, love the rug and I was tempted to order another but common sense said don’t. It’s beautiful if it’s in a low traffic area, but it doesn’t hold up to traffic, regular vacuuming and life.

I have had two of these rugs for 3 years and have been very pleased. They look EXACTLY as the picture shows, with all its knobs and color variations...in fact, my two didn't exactly match in color but I like that it seems more natural and hand woven that way. They are in the highest traffic area of my house...the kitchen! There have been some ends that gave way and stuck out over the years and I pushed the ends back into the weave. To clean, I simply vacuumed them and a few times I took them outside to shake them. (Not easy since they are heavy.) What do you expect for the price? I am finally ordering another two and throwing these out...they have served me well for 3 years...and at this price I'd father just get new ones.

I’ve had many juut rugs and this one is just not worth the price. I purchased it right before Easter and it’s been falling apart - the braids coming lose and sticking up all over. It’s super uncomfortable to walk on without shoes- the braids stick up making it really bumpy. The worst is the durability. It’s located in our sitting room so there isn’t a ton of traffic and I’ve had to rethread and trim it many times. It’s just falling apart! And now it looks horrible! It started so pretty but I’ve had it since mid April and it’s barely June and there are noticeable holes all over. It’s just not worth the money at all. Too big of a pain to return now too. So nope- I don’t recommend.

After reading many MANY reviews on rugs, I settled on this one because I was led to believe I could put it in the entryway at my front door, and my front door could open over the top of it. Noooooooo way. This rug is very thick. I don’t know why anyone would ever suggest a typical door could swing over the top. So if you’re looking for a thick rug, then great! I thought I may keep it anyway and place it somewhere else, but within only 3 days the fibers in one spot came undone leaving a giant fluffy obstacle that made it impossible to like the rug. I took shears to the fluffy blob of fibers to try and smooth it over. It’s been ok since (about 2 months now). If I had to do it again, I wouldn’t buy this particular rug. What I do like is that there is no rubber on the back side, as rubber ruins our wood floors. It is heavy enough to stay in place without any additional adhesive help.

I purchased several of these runners to create a "track" for my elderly dog who slips on our hardwood floors. I wanted something neutral and textured, but I was concerned that a jute rug would shed (like others have). So far, so good with these! They are high quality, pretty and don't shed....exactly what I was looking for. Two things to know, they are very textured and walking on them barefoot is a bit different than a regular rug. Also, you DEFINITELY need the recommended rug pad under the entirety of the rug because although these are hefty, they do slide.

I bought these throw rugs for two reason: 1. To protect my floors at the door entryways. 2. To allow the 'dirt' and dog hair to flow through the rug and ease with cleanup. My previous throw rugs attracted dog hair and trapped the hair on the rug, making it nearly impossible to remove. I hated having to look at this all the time. It made my home look unkept, even though I sweep my floors every day. These 'rattan' rugs look wonderful, are a natural fiber, and trap the dog hair/dirt, but are soooo easy to clean. They look amazing, and do not emphasize the trapped hair, dust, or dirt.

I had jute rugs in my carport that held up for 20 plus years. I live in MS so they held up to heat, humidity and a very damp area. If they got wet I just let them dry out in the sun. I ordered this long runner as a replacement. I wanted something to hold up in a heavy traffic area and something that my suv could drive over and not hurt. So far very pleased. It is not shedding or unraveling. It is thick and I think it will survive the heavy foot traffic. Color is so neutral. My carport looks neat and organized thanks to this great rug.

I love the rugs. I put them in my kitchen. They are a little difficult because they will get ruined if you vacuum. They Are lumpy and not flat so crumbs get stuck in the rug and you cannot vacuum it so you have to take it outside and shake it off. I love the way they look they are just a little bit difficult to clean. If you don’t mind that they will work perfectly.
