Purchased three of these rugs in the irovy/brown pattern and really like the colors and design. I have in the 9 ft 6 in x 13 ft size and an 8 x10 and 6x6. We have an open floor plan and I coordinated the rugs in an open area. I recently ordered the 3x5 rug and was disappointed to find that the rug is no longer the same. The rugs I own from 2 or 3 yrs ago were made in China, now they are made in India (China being the nicer of the two). The difference is best described as an art piece of a pen and ink drawing vs. a pictured drawn in crayon. The patterns and borders no longer have detail in the design, the colors are no longer nice (or what I need or like). If my old rug had 12 colors in pattern, the new rugs from India have like 6. The green in mine was like a nice cool tone seafoam green accent, the new one was an ugly olive or army green. The new rug has mustard yellow as an accent and my older ones don't have that color at all. I was very disappointed. The detail in patterns are far inferior. The other disappointment was that the company who makes these has not changed the advertising pictures. I have seen this on many different websites and even ordered the rug from Amazon and another site. Both advertise same picture and what you get looks nothing like their description pictures. We even contacted Safavieh and they said nothing had changed. We sent the labels from back of rugs and photos of the pattern and color difference. They did acknowledge the difference but were unable to help us as the rug in photos no longer exist. I caution you if you are ordering rugs in any of the colors that it will not be as shown in pictures, patterns or colors.

I have bought many rugs from this company mainly because they're made from wool instead of chemicals, and their prices are very reasonable. The carpets are thick, and beautiful. However, as I said in the headline, they shed like crazy. I find clumps of lint after walking on them, and there's little fibers of wool which spread onto the hardwood floors like a coating of dust. When my dog lies on it, her fur has these fibers all over too. I thought it would go away after multiple times vacuuming, but it hasn't. We go through a lot of vacuum cleaner bags. Lol. But I don't care because I'd rather have wool fibers to vacuum, than to have chemicals in my home. I still recommend these rugs.

This runner was purchased for a second floor railroad style apartment to buffer noise when walking room to room across an old wood floor. I dislike the 'distressed look' that seems to be the style of many carpets these days, so I was thrilled to find this pattern. It came in a roll and was even more plush than expected. The colors and pattern were exactly as pictured. The sage green is just the right shade to hide the dirt and the thin red outlines really make it pop. The rug has been down for two days and lies flat except for a slight curl at the corners of one end which will benefit from two small pieces of carpet tape. I haven't noticed any shedding. This is a quality rug and I'm very happy with this purchase.

Numerous years ago purchased a 5' x 8' rug (Safavieh Anatolia Collection) from frontgate.com. When looking for a smaller (2' x 3') rug on amazon, I was pleasantly surprised to find the same brand and general style on amazon. The rug arrived promptly. The "rust" color is an accurate description ... but the color is little more brown than what is displayed in the picture. Was hoping for a slightly better match to the red tones in my existing rug (i.e., the two rugs are in the same room), but had not expected them to match. Very happy with this purchase.

I was nervous about purchasing an area rug just based on a photo but I'm very impressed with how accurate the colors are in real life to how they looked from my pixel phone. The rug was delivered quickly, it was well wrapped against the weather, it had no smell and laid flat on the floor after about an hour. The rug has a nice thickness to it and after 2 days it is not pilling or shedding at all. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

This rug is good! I am very happy with the quality of the rug and with the color. A bit of shedding in the vacuum, but not on its own. No smell whatsoever. Great backing on this rug. The delivery was rough, first attempt (Monday) we did not know it was coming as it arrived 2 days before the “will be delivered before 8pm Wednesday” and we were not home. Somewhere along the way someone decided a signature was required.... second attempt Tuesday.....the UPS driver opened his truck and no 9 x 12 rug???? What??? UPS lost it for a day and a half.... Wednesday, viola!!! The rug was here. Very stressful couple of days and time from work in order to receive my rug.

The rug is just as described if not better. The color is muted which is perfect for us. This is a high quality throw rug that stays in place and looks good all the time. We bought it for our powder room. We have bought this brand, 100% wool rug several times before in other plain colors. The price for this one was a bargain!! Highly recommend.

This rug is great! As some of the other reviews have indicated, the colors a bit more muted than the picture shows however, I didn't mind this at all because the rug is truly beautiful. The size it great (I ordered and 8x10), the thickness of great and the overall quality is everything I expected. My only small complaint was the out-gassing that occurred for the first couple of days. If I had ordered it in the spring/summer, it probably wouldn't have been as noticeable, but with the winter, everything is closed up. Still, I'd buy it again in a heart beat. Great price too for a wool rug!
