I waited a bit to write this review as I wanted to see how the area rug would withstand in my extremely highly trafficked living area. Even with furniture moved around on it -repeatedly, cats that like to use their claws to make “biscuits” on it, my son and I doing our daily workouts on it, it had held up stupendously! I had my reservations buying this area rug due to some of the reviews. It does need to be vacuumed as soon as it is laid out. It will shed and all the “junk” needs to be sucked up off of it. I have 3 other wool area rugs, all from different manufacturers, and they have all shed and required the same attention. This area rug is gorgeous in my living space which is all grays, browns, whites, creams and navy. Love the thickness, didn’t end up using a pad. ... show more
