Description

The Safariland Model 6004 Tactical holster is built for comfort as well as functionality. This Tactical holster features the Self Locking System (SLS™) rotating hood system which is so well suited for the tactical situations encountered today. The hood on the Model 6004 holster can only be released by being simultaneously pushed down and rotated forward and actually becomes more secure when upward force is applied. The STX Tactical finish of the holster is rugged, protecting the gun in scrape, scratch and dent incidents. Molded sight track and soft SafariSuede™ protect the gun's sights and finish. A special feature of the Model 6004 is the double leg strap and the leg shroud. These two features combined equal comfort and stability in the holster position on the leg.

Second try ordering one of these... and it was worth the fight! Once you get things dialed in (which admittedly takes a little work but you get the hang of Safariland's adjustment system quick) adjusting it to fit you, it STAYS PUT in both the straps, the holster and until you release the thumb-break the sidearm in it--I was actually able to adjust my belt including 10lbs of keys and other stuff in my pants pockets just by grabbing the grip of my sidearm in this holster and using it as a handle. Push-down-and-pivot retention system takes a little practice, but once you get used to it your pistol isn't leaving holster until YOU want it to but once you make the decision and flick your thumb it's quickly accessed. TL/DR: Would enthusiastically buy this again! ... show more

honestly the only con about this holster is you can't get it in multicam other then that I highly recommend it I understand its a bit more money then Blackhawk but Blackhawk holsters are disgusting and you won't be disappointed when buying safariland most comfortable holster I ever worn.

I can't believe how well this fits me and how comfortable it is! I'm 5'8" and 120 pounds soaking wet - my husband gifted me this holster along with the size small belt for Christmas for when I'm walking around our property. Excellent quality - even the husband said it exceeded his expectations.

I bought this holster for my Springfield 1911 and I was impressed with the design and the easy of the draw from the holster. I can do transitions from my rifle to pistol with ease. Overall I'm glad I purchased this holster.

Great holster! I use this holster mostly while riding atv's. it holds the firearm securely and it's easy to remove the pistol when i need to remove it. it's very comfortable to wear.
