First of all, this may be my own fault, because I had this in the closet for over a year before I could put it up. But, I have done a lot of these decals even from this same manufacturer and never had a problem. I am well familiar with how to do a wall decal and I have never had a problem with the stickiness before. This one was so incredibly sticky it stuck all over the place. I really struggled to put this one up. I'm probably going to have to redo it because of how crooked it is. The letters are all over the place. It's ridiculous. I'll probably have to pull it all off and try again. The only reason I can think that I had such a hard time with this is because I waited to put it up. But reading the reviews about how sticky it is makes me wonder if that didn't matter. Word to the wise: Do NOT wait to put this on your wall. Purchase this ONLY as soon as you are ready to apply it. The longer you wait, the stickier and more rolled up it will be. ... show more

    • Worth the effort

I purchased this decal to mount on an old window which I use like a picture on our north dining room wall. I purchased it in brown which was exactly what I hoped for as far as the tone. I read other reviews about the difficulty removing it and way it is placed on the sheets because the words are not in the order “ bless this home and all who enter. “ One way to make this much easier to remove is to carefully cut around the individual pieces/wording so you don’t have such long sheets to work with when you remove the wording. I will say, the first word blessed is by far the most difficult to remove because of the B and the L being so much larger than the rest of the word. I finally resorted to cutting the B away from the rest of bless and mounting it separately and then doing “less” which works much better than trying to pull the whole word off together . I highly suggest cutting around each individual word laying it out before you mount it to make sure you have the placement in order before you start. And again, you will never know that you cut the B away from the rest of the word bless because you can put them up with much less difficulty and it tears much less easily if you do this. I did end up with some small tears because I had to keep removing it from the surface in order to get the alignment correct. If you end up placing this on glass it has a very strong adhesion but if you are careful you can continue to pull it off and place it back on the window until you get it where you want it . I have no idea how this would work on a wall since I used it on glass but I hope this is helpful to anyone that might wish to try it. ... show more

My installation skills not the best, but regardless, nothing can fix that all the words are different sizes “…and all who enter.” Placed on a mirror, the lettering is not vibrant as pictured. The decals are sensitive to tearing, so any sharp corners are likely to take small rips of hyoid remove and reapply. ... show more

You need more than one person to assist because letters easily stick together. Some letters were more difficult to place, so we cut letter by by letter prior to sticking. After placing them, we were satisfied with the results. Patience is needed!

Very sticky and easy to tear the word trying to remove. Take a sharp knife & cut the whole word from the paper. This will keep the sticky backing of the other words plus the backing between the words our of your way. Once I did this it was easy. If you place on wall a little crooked it's easy to pull back off to adjust. ... show more
