We were delayed in installing because we were out of town. Got it installed and it worked great! A month later, it wasn't working. We originally thought it was just due to cloud coverage for over a week at a time. Moved back to our regular 110 charger during this time. It was awhile before we could switch back to solar due to our schedule. When we finally did (a month later), it wouldn't work. Sadly, we are outside the return window. We got one month out of this solar charger. Buy with caution and make sure you install immediately and return as soon as a problem arises.

Good fencer...hotter than my Speedrite fencer I spent 1000 dollars on. Have it running a 80 acer pasture that is all crossfenced.Will be buying more of these.

I could not remove the battery box screw following the instructions. A “5mm screwdriver” can’t reach the screw due to an offset in the box. I used a 5mm hex wrench which fit well. The screw was very hard to turn and then just spun without coming out. I wasn’t able to connect the battery and charge the unit so I sent it back for a refund and bought another brand. 4 day delay.

The screw was missing for the battery cover. when I lifted it out of the package the battery nearly fell on my foot. I was fortunate enough to have a bolt that fit it, but be warned the only choice you have is to return the product if this happens to you. I was unable to find any business support for this solar charger. It works well, hopefully it lasts a long time.
