As someone flying a drone for the very first time, this model proved to be an excellent entry point. It is incredibly easy to learn and intuitive, making the learning curve very manageable even for a complete novice. Taking it out for a spin in a residential area with several large trees, the obstacle avoidance system was put to the test immediately. It performed extremely well, navigating around branches and trunks without issue during normal flight. It gives a lot of confidence to a new pilot who might be nervous about crashing. However, there is one critical operational detail to be aware of: the automatic landing function appears to disable the collision detection. I made the mistake of hitting the landing button while positioned underneath a tree. Instead of sensing the branches and correcting, it descended straight down and got firmly lodged in the tree canopy. It took about an hour of throwing sports balls at the branches to finally dislodge it. Aside from that specific learning experience, it is a fantastic quadcopter. If you are looking for a user-friendly drone to start with, this is a great choice—just make sure you have a clear, open path to the ground before you hit "land."

I’ve been flying this drone for a bit now and it’s been a great experience overall. It feels stable in the air and the GPS features like auto return give extra peace of mind, especially when you’re still getting comfortable flying. The camera quality is solid for casual photos and videos, and the wide angle captures a lot in one shot. I really like that it comes with two batteries since it extends flight time without having to stop and recharge right away. The remote with the screen is convenient and easy to use, and the controls feel responsive. For a beginner or hobby user, this drone offers a lot of features and is fun to fly.
