This electric fence charger was very easy to set up and works extremely well! We used the included 120v plug for the initial battery charge. The battery has remained charged through solar since, even with several cloudy, rainy days! We just ordered a second unit to use on a different area of our land. We highly recommend this charger!

At 6 months, output dropped and down to .4 Joules, not the 1 Joule that it should be. Verified the power at the fence and with the fence disconnected at the terminals. It is fully charged, the fence ground is good and the fence wire is not touching vegetation or ground. Using a different fence charger and verified my readings are good with it. It is China made…buyer beware.

This fencer worked good. I liked that it can be mounted on a t-post, and that you could charge it from house current before you install it on a fence. I doubt if it will charge a 40 mile fence, but it worked good on my 50 acre pasture.

Probably one of the easiest to install fence chargers I have ever bought. Nice lightweight compact size and easy to move if you use portable netted fencing like I do. We have sheep and so far, they have learned not to mess with the fence any more. Instructions were a breeze. What was nice is it come with the big alligator clamps and a long covered wire with a ring on the other end to attach the charger to your fence, The other bonus I liked is it came with an AC adapter in case there isn't enough sun to charge the battery. Many chargers don't come with that little extra. It came charged right out of the box. Best part is our ground is the consistency of cement right now due to drought conditions to the point I couldn't get a real ground rod in the ground. It's working with u shaped ground "fork" that only went into the ground about 5 inches at best. Right now it is powering several 50' lengths of multi strand netted fencing at 10,000 kv (I think that's the electrical unit). Either way, it packs a wallop - trust me - because my idiot A $ $ accidentally touched it. Lit me up like a Christmas tree. My wrist zinged for about an hour afterwards. LOL Once heck of a value considering the next closest type of charger by another maker is almost 3x the price of this one. You can't beat the price.

My old charger died and a bear crossed the fence and attacked my beehives. It kept coming back each night until the new charger came. The trail cam showed the bear returning, walking around the outside of the fence and giving up and leaving.
