I ordered the L shaped desk with the solid walnut top, and while the desk seems very well built, neither the main desk or the return surfaces are pre-drilled (I check both sides). They came as essentially solid slabs of wood. The assembly manual makes mention of the fact that some surfaces may not come pre-drilled, but does NOT provide any hardware at all to mount it properly. I also don't see ANY mention of this in the description of the product, which is unacceptable. I called the 800 customer service numbers (within the stated business hours) and was greeted by a robotic, computer-generated greeting asking me to leave a voicemail. I am stuck until I find out more about exactly how they recommend drilling these holes. Definitely not happy about this surprise, and not sure that I'm comfortable drilling my own holes (I suspect I'm out of luck if I do it incorrectly). I would NOT have purchased this version had I known this fact, but as I said earlier, it is not mentioned at all in the description. ... show more
