This Kayak is lighter than I thought given its size. Also very fast to inflate since the bottom part only requires 8 psi while the two on the sides only require 2 psi. In comparison, my old paddle board requires 13 psi which takes way longer to inflate than this one which is very nice. We brought this to the Sammamish river in Bothell to give it a try and it worked wonderfully. My 3 year old son also loved it since it's very stable that he could move about freely (mostly eating all sorts of snacks and fruits the entire time lol). Previously when we were on the paddle board he's afraid of moving so not as enjoyable as this one. It's pretty easy to steer and move forward even if just one person doing the paddling. For my old paddle board usually both my wife and I need to paddle to be able to move swiftly with my son onboard. I'd say kids would mostly prefer Kayak more than paddle board since they can do more things on the water and enjoy the experience without having to constantly worry about the balance and stuff.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Don't let the lack of reviews make you hesitant...this is a REALLY great boat! We've owned multiple hard sided kayaks in the past, and this is by far my favorite!! So easy to set up (read some reviews first for tips), nice and sturdy material, the hard floor is just like a SUP, paddles are good, even the included seats are decent! Ypu may want to buy upgraded seats for a lottle higher back support and comfort (compatible with any normal kayak seats), but the included seats were just fine for about a 2hr paddle today! It's literally got everything you need...we picked it up today from the post office and took it straight to the water! My husband and I kept saying it was our favorite kayak we've ever used! Easily one of my favorite purchases we've made in the past 5 years! You won't regret it either, just quit researching & buy it!

We absolutely love this kayak! We have used it many times through the season. Can be assembled and moved by one person, we have even used it with one person. My only complaint is the seats, they are usable but could be more comfortable.

This inflatable 2 person kayak is an outstanding buy. Used 1x on a large lake in NC. Found it to be very buoyant, sturdy floor, stable, thick material. Took about 10 minutes to inflate the 3 air chambers. Have had good hard, 10’ and 11’ kayaks previously. Sold them. They were a pain to haul, transport and store. Was always concerned they could flip. Not THIS Kayak! Tracks well. East to transport and store. My only issue are the seats. A minor issue though. Passenger in front adjusted hers to fit. I did not. That’s an easy adjustment with the strap(s) adjustments. Planning on purchasing another! Great value. Well constructed. Highly recommend!

Great Kayak. Needs some “tweaking”. LoL 1) The paddle holders are dangerous they’ll rip your fingernails off. So cut them off and use the existing for lashing straps, or you don’t even need them . shove the oars underneath the front. 2) the bottom fins are very tight. I wound up shaving off a dime thickness, and now they slide in and out easily. (Used a wood planer!). 3) and the storage bag is inconvenient. The zipper is weak. Be better to roll it up and stuff it in the duffel style with shoulder straps and then you could put air pump also. > Otherwise great Kayak well-made stable and convenient 👌👌👌👌👌 The SEPARATE solid floor is a great design! It’s more rigid and protected from abrasion compared to other designs.
