So southeast Texas has a bit of history with power issues due to our outdated power grid, flooding, and hurricanes. Bought 2 Ryobi fans after a family member borrowed one from a friend and thought it was amazing. I have a plethora of dependable Ryobi products that have served me well since my husband's passing, so I thought why not. Fast forward to right after Independence Day.... an unexpected hit from a hurricane that our electric folks were not prepared for; over 3 million without electricity in one swipe. This fan was my saving grace. It not only worked amazing by itself, it also complemented a small a/c unit beautifully once I got my generator going. This little fan is a mighty thing. If you are looking for dependability, functionality, portability, flexibility, and quality, this is what you want in a fan when you are battling the heat. Fits/works well with all standard Ryobi batteries and chargers. I like it so much I ordered another. It'll probably be here before our electricity is restored! 😉 UPDATE: Yep; the fan made it here before the restoration of our electricity. So glad I bought another. Totally awesome fan, 24 hours on low, 8 hrs on medium, with decent 4mah batteries. Bought it for the dog, hes always hot. Its been bounced around by a 75 lb pit bull for three months now and has no damage. Another Ryobi win. I thought I was purchasing the Ryobi P3320 18v Hybrid fan (as advertised in the listing photo) to match another one I had purchased a few years back, and I was disappointed that I was sent the Ryobi Whisper 18v Hybrid fan instead… I felt cheated, initiated a return, left one-star feedback, everything… And then finally I decided to set up both fans & do a side-by-side comparison. And what I found was: The Whisper is a much better fan! Hahaha omg I’m keeping the Whisper & will most likely purchase a second one to match. It’s got 3 speed settings instead of only 2, sits up taller, much better aerodynamics and it’s wonderfully quiet. I have since canceled my return & amended my review. The lesson is, don’t be afraid of change… you might love it! ... show more

It can get very hot and humid in the summers when working in the yard. This fan was a great help to keep me cool. I really like how the battery is transferable to other products too.

Git this fan to take camping. Worked really well. Only complaint is that there is a huge difference between the low and med setting, but not much of one between the med and high. So having 3 settings is a bit pointless. Otherwise did exactly what we wanted.

Like everything about it. We used it to take to our grandson's baseball tournament in Alabama, and it was very hot sitting on bleachers in 90+ degree heat. The fan made it tolerable. Would recommend it to everyone.
