  • heavy duty goodness
I use this gem on my car alot, do alot of suspenshin work and it really saves time on the big jobs.

  • Well worth the cost for a DIY'er.
First off I was a little disappointed at this product. I was hoping I could use this to zip off lig nuts on my cars. My truck is probably too tight, so I wasn't expecting it to work on those. I was changing out my life nuts on a car I just bought. I was disappointed that this little impact wouldn't tsk them off. Then I realized that someone had tightened the guts out of them. It took a 1/2, 36 inch long breaker bar and a 3 foot pipe to break them loose. After I installed them all I torqued to spec. A few weeks later I did the brakes on the same car. This impact zipped them right off. Yeah, it's isn't going to remove big nuts torqued to 250 ft/lbs, but it'll do the work I need it to. I've also used this to install 3 inch lag bolts to secure hanging garage shelving. Well worth the cost for this impact. It fits right in with all my other Ryobi tools. ... show more

  • Solid Tool
Worked well for me. I have plenty of other Ryobi tools. Love the brand and performance. I would not hesitate to recommend.

  • Works good for 3/8" Sockets
This impact tool is a little light for heavy duty use IMHO. I had a 3/16" SS Allen screw on my aluminum RV mirrors that would not come out with normal tapping and and allen wrench. I bought this Royobi 3/8" impact tool and tried to remove it - first on the 1 setting and then on the two setting and finally on 3 - it did not come out. I tried with normal penetrating oil and it still would not budge. In desperation, I squirted some Kroil on it and left for a few hours. Then I put a piece of blue painters tape across the hole, cut a slit with my knife and squirted some Kroil in. I left it over night and in the morning came out and removed the tape. As I inserted the Allen driver, and with the Royobi on 3 level, I hit the trigger and almost immediately the screw backed out - YEA. I would still buy the impact tool but I do not expect it to handle tough jobs. I have a 1/2" pneumatic impact tool for things like lawnmower blades, rusty outside automotive nuts, et.al. For normal items like my bicycle Allen screws, Phillip screws and tough torx screws and the like I will use the Royobi. ... show more

  • Perfect for smaller bolts
I already have the 1/2" drive version and decided I needed this for smaller jobs, like changing out a damaged oil pan. Works a charm and I have lots of One Plus tools and batteries, perfect match.

  • Outperforms many air tools
As expected, it has much more torque than the 1/4" drive tool, and it's faster than any of the 3/8" air tools that I tested it against. You need to be a bit careful when using this to tighten things; it's got more power than you might think, and the kickback is really low.

  • Very pleased with my impact wrench!
I never actually owned in impact wrench before but now that I’ve chosen to work on my own truck I’m so glad I purchased it! It makes tough jobs so much easier when used for applications it’s intended for. I initially bought the Ryobi because I already had a matching drill setwith two batteries. It uses the same battery. Win for me. Great product. ... show more

  • Stout little impact.
Very impressed with this Ryobi 3/8 inch impact. It is very stout. Light weight. Great for quick jobs where I do not want to get out my air compressor. You don't have to pull around an air hose which is nice.
