We are really loving these curtains! They are only made from cloth, rather than containing a layer of rubber or plastic like another set we owned. That rubber eventually degraded and they were a mess to take down. These are very effective at blocking light. We have them hanging in our bedroom (of course) and one set of windows receives full morning light for about three hours. With these curtains up the room is just barely in a quiet twilight during those hours, allowing some really nice deep sleep for my sleep-challenged spouse.
