UPDATE: TODAY IS FIVE MONTHS TO THE DAY THAT WE INSTALLED THESE OUTDOOR CURTAINS: They HAVE faded significantly on the exterior sides that face out to the sun. The grommets are beginning to show that the curtains are separating from the grommets. I had read about this issue in other reviews so I've been having anxiety worrying if the same would happen with mine. I have a total of six panels (two panels each side) which is QUITE a considerable investment that I would like to see last more than five months!!! There are snags on the outside of the curtains that have now developed, as well. In complete transparency, though, I wish to share that I still believe these to be incredible outdoor curtains. I have had them hanging (without tiebacks) during this hot, sunny, triple-digit Texas heat all summer and they create a complete BLACKOUT and are an incredibly effective relief. I believe we must live in some sort of wind tunnel, as these curtains have had to survive severe whipping winds (always use tie-backs during high winds!) so I do rate them very highly for being able to sustain wind gusts. The fading IS a significant problem, as the panels that face out to the yard are an ENTIRELY different color than the mocha brown facing in. Is it ugly from the yard view? Yes. Is it still attractive from the patio view? Yes. They do an excellent job of repelling and wicking away water. They do an incredible job at blocking out the sun. Are they worth the price considering how much they have deteriorated in just 5 months of usage? I will update again as time passes. ORIGINAL POST PRIOR TO 5-MONTH UPDATE: The RYB outdoor curtain panels (100x108 in brown) are absolutely worth every single cent. They are amazing in their ability to repel rain droplets, dry quickly, drape beautifully, and truly block sunlight. I hired a contractor to install copper pipes for curtain rods (for maximum support of curtain panels flapping in the wind) (and for visual aesthetics carrying interior color theme to exterior) and the curtain grommets slide with ease over the metal. If the curtains are tied back, they will capture a bit of rain in the folds, so it just takes a gentle shaking-out and once the sun comes out, I let the curtains hang down without the tie backs and the curtains will dry within about 15 minutes! I wanted a patio where I could close the curtains to the harsh sun and I'm really surprised at the incredible job they do in blocking all the light! I purchased the tie backs recommended by the seller and love them very much. The tie backs are smooth and will not abrade the curtain fabric. Sometimes bugs will fly onto the curtains and start to decompose, no worries, just use a paper towel to remove and unbelievably there are no stains left behind on the curtains. This was an excellent investment not just for the house, but also for myself, so that I'm encouraged to sit a spell, enjoy the fresh air, have a nice glass of wine... ... show more

They look great, bought 2 big panels for one side in our screened porch. They were blowing everywhere very windy that day we put up. Definitely need weights for these. I just ordered the magnet weights separate. Gave them a 4 star because of the very tiny hem. Couldn’t sew in weights even if I tried. I also may look for clips of some sort or to keep them closed together as well.because with any wind they will part open. In hind sight I should have ordered drapes with a pole at bottom to secure and allow you to slide them open. That would have worked better than weights. Color was perfect and material is thick quality but hoping the fold wrinkles drop out or I will have to steam. Definitely blocks neighbors, which are very close. Which was the main reason we bought these for privacy. Hope to get mature bushes planted in the fall. ... show more

UPDATE: I should have taken a pic but these lovely curtains lasted one season before they became too faded to keep up. And, they are hung on a covered porch.. they get sun but not all day. I suspect a lighter color might have been they way to go. These curtains we surprisingly beautiful, especially at the price here. They are very heavy, same color on both sides and the blue color is unique and beautiful. Note that the blue color is so unique that it is unlikely to match anything else if that's the goal. Had I known that, I would have chosen a different color because it definitely does not look good with my outdoor cushions but they are beautiful and of good quality so I kept them anyway. My only complaint is that the grommet color ... shiny silver. I searched everywhere to find a curtain with black grommets and the only one I could find was a Sunbrella drape at 5x the price. Surely I am not the only one who chooses black curtain rods for outdoor patios and pergolas (for anything except a shower, for that matter) so WHY would grommets be silver ??!?!?! ... show more

These outdoor curtains have been a great addition to our deck. They are thick, truly blackout, and waterproof, which has made a huge difference for us. Our neighbors keep a bright light on all night, and without these curtains we honestly wouldn’t be able to enjoy relaxing summer evenings outside. They provide great privacy and really help create a cozy atmosphere. The only downside is that the beige color did fade after a few months, but our deck gets full sun most of the day, so that probably contributed to it. I also wish they came in a 72-inch length because ours were much longer than we needed. Other than that, we really love them and would still recommend them. ... show more

These are the absolute perfect privacy curtain for your front porch!!! I love being lowkey and private. Which is why I don’t like sitting in the front of my house. This has been a game changer. I got new chair set and the curtains compliment the tan cushions perfectly. The curtains are a thick material which can block out excess sunlight and excess wind. They are super soft material. Easy to use I order some tension rods off amazon to install easily on my porch. Great length!!! The dimensions are true to size. I got two packs but since this side of my porch is so small I only needed one pack. Great purchase for a great price. Got this item while it was on sale for around $8 bucks!! I bought these curtains 4 years ago and had to come and leave a review. The curtains are very heavy duty and have held up so well on my porch. They have been exposed to full sun for over four years and still look great and have not dry rotted at all. The side that is exposed to the sun has faded but I don't think that anything can be in the sun for that long and not fade. They also block the sun completely, which is great for when you want to watch tv.I highly recommend these curtains. ... show more
