I purchased these for my French doors. They were so easy to install. The curtains are well made and look nice. They arrived quite wrinkled, but easily ironed. I wanted them for blocking out the evening sun. They work perfectly! I find them easy to roll up when not needed. I did clean the door with alcohol prior to placing the adhesive strip and it adhered well. They provide complete blackout and will be useful when winter comes as they will keep out cold air.

These RYB HOME Blackout Door Curtains worked amazingly for blocking out light. They look really nice and were very easy to hang. They do an excellent job at blocking out light, though I do wish they were a bit thicker for complete sunlight blockage on their own. When used with my blinds, they manage to block out nearly all sunlight, which is fantastic. Overall, they are a high-quality product and a great addition to any room needing better light control.

These were super easy to install. The velcro strip is very strong so it is not torn down easily however if it is (by my 2 toddlers) it goes back up easily. They block out a TON of light! Great for black out curtains for daytime naps for my littles. No more hanging blankets in front of the window!! My only complaint is that you can't pin it up part of the way. It is either all the way down or all the way up. Ill do some problem solving for that.

I bought a total of six of these first three I bought or for a window or 8 foot high French doors. They installed easy. They look great the materials fine they block the light can’t say enough good about them except I had to add extra Velcro at about a 6 foot height because the Velcro on them is up at the top and you would need a ladder in a typical room on a long window to reach that to roll the blind up in two it’s open position I would suggest that they might have two locations with Velcro so if you have an area where you’re actually going to open and close it, you wouldn’t need to have a step ladder in the room to do it

Bought these to cover our French doors after the magnetic plastic blinds were ruined by our dog. We have had these shades up for a while and they are still in mint condition! Very durable and affordable option if you can't afford the glass covered blinds for your french doors and so easy to install. The window shades are made of good quality and thick material! I wish they made these for regular windows because I would replace all of my blinds with these!

Curtains look good and are definitely thick enough to block light but they are not heavy material so because I like to have a fan going while I sleep they tend to lift away from the wall letting in bursts of light. Maybe some kind of weight added to the bottom would help? For now I’m just taping the sides to the wall at night. The only other issue is that adhesive used for the Velcro to “hang” the curtain would not stay put. As long as the curtain was down it was fine but if I tried to roll up the curtain the weight made the Velcro strip become unstuck. The whole thing would fall to the ground in a matter of minutes. Followed the instructions carefully but maybe since my walls are textured it wouldn’t stick properly? I fixed the issue by using Command brand Velcro (see picture). The kind you use to hang pictures. It’s been up over a month now and hasn’t fallen down. Plus with command you get the easy pull tabs so you can take it off your walls without it taking the paint when you need to move. Overall I’m glad I purchased this curtain and it looks nice.

Saturday, August 17, 2024 I received and put up the black out vinyl screen that I ordered on Friday, August 16th. While I liked the weight of the vinyl and ease of installation, it darkened the room too much. I immediately ordered this curtain and received it today, August 18th. I like the material and ease of installation. I especially like the ability to raise the curtain during the day to let the light in and lower it in the evening for privacy. The fit is perfect. Just measure before you order.

I read that the adhesive would eventually give. It only made sense that a heavy blanket would not stay up with adhesive alone. Since it was long - 86", I put about 1/2" of fabric over the door frame at the top. I put the adhesive strip on the top of the door first, then carefully placed the blanket onto the strip. I rolled up the extra at the bottom. That way it would hold the blanket up better, when the door is closed; in addition to the Velcro and adhesive. I used 2 strong magnets that I had laying around at the bottom, just to keep the blanket up against the door. The door really pinched the blanket at the top - it's not going anywhere! Sometimes, you just have to use common sense to make it work! I am using mine as a sound barrier.
