I needed some curtains in my kitchen to go over the sink so my neighbors couldn't see in at night. I have a deep red and black color scheme throughout my kitchen and these curtains are absolutely true to color. They're not a vibrant fire engine red. They have a deep red tone to them and match my cookware perfectly. The curtains themselves are heavy and thick which creates the blackout component to them. If they're closed during the day very minimal sunlight is seen along the edges. The light does not penetrate through the fabric at all. As for the wrinkle and hair free components, if the fabric is left scrunched to the sides during the day they will have some wrinkles in them but they soon release when closed. I have a couple cats and dogs so even though I try to keep up with the hair it's ultimately impossible. The pet hair clings a little to the curtains but not like it does to other materials. I'm able to low heat tumble the curtains in the dryer for about 10 minutes and remove the hair easily. ... show more

Bought these in various sizes for a rental house we are staying in. Needed them for privacy & they work. Easy to install on inexpensive tension rods. They've been up a few weeks and haven't fallen down so I'm glad they are not too heavy. Mocha color a good neutral. Creases from packing are difficult to remove - I steam ironed them before I put them up but still some major creases at first, but creases have gotten better over time. I haven't tried washing them, or putting them in the dryer yet. But now I can relax on the main floor not wondering who can see in, so I'm 100% satisfied on that aspect. I also put them on some basement windows, laundry room, bathroom, & additional bedroom down there, and they work as expected. They were a little too long for the basement windows but we rolled up the bottoms, so they're tolerable to look at. Privacy and good blackout for sunny mornings! They aren't fancy, but they do the job & I liked the many solid color choices. They look way better than newspaper, foil, or a sheet lol. Recommend. ... show more

I spent several hours researching the right size, quality, and color for our Skoolie. If you buy the set of 52 X 36 panels, it will cover two of your bus windows. For example, we had 30 windows to cover, so we ordered 15 sets. I rated 5 on sheerness, because it doesn't apply. Thickness is the relevant feature here. I am very impressed with the high quality material. It was 80 degrees Fahrenheit here today. I could feel the drop in temperature in the bus, the more curtains I put up. They filter out both light and heat. To hang them, I folded one panel over the curtain rod and then adjust the length. You'll want to pin them or sew them close to the curtain rod so that you don't have to adjust them as/after you travel down the road. These would also be good curtains inside the house, as they filter light well. Size and color were accurate. Of the 15 sets I ordered, the color was consistent. I just hung these last night. The first photo is around 8pm, on July 23. The second photo is July 24 at 6:45am. It looks a lot lighter than it is due to my camera shooting in dark mode. They're on curtain rings so they let in a bit of light. I needed something to darken our living room so my son realizes it's time for bed. This door faces north so we get a lot of light. I needed these curtains to help block light. For starters, I work overnights and sleep during the day. However, the more pressing issues was my concern over potential UV damage from sunlight trickling through the venetian blinds, which only partial obscured light into the room. I measured the window and originally bought curtains that were a tad too short hoping they would suffice. It worked somewhat, but the light still reached my clothing rack during afternoon hours. So, I made the decision to return those and bought some which were longer. My first intention was to trim the curtains to sit just above the window AC unit. Summer is on the way, and I didn't want the curtains blocking the vents from cooling the room properly. However, I changed my mind and decided to use some redneck ingenuity instead. I folded the curtains neatly to the position I wanted and used decorative duct tape to keep the curtains above the vents. I also tucked in the sides of the curtains for a neater look and used clear packaging tape to hold it in place. Ultimately, it was a faster and easier solution than removing, measuring, cutting, hemming, and rehanging the curtains. As a bonus, it now blocks light even better than before, while also solving the need to have the curtains not block the AC unit. The mocha color is nice. I had originally bought in the biscotti shade, but I decided to purchase a darker color after I returned the previous pair. I think it matches the decor in here better. ... show more

I got these to put in an East-facing window that always beams sunlight into my eyes at 8am. I was worried they might not work the best because they are a lighter color, but I didn’t want dark, oppressive curtains in my room. They work great! They keep the sun at bay and they definitely darken the room. The material is thick and feels quality. The track to feed the rod through was nice and wide, I hung them up using a suspension shower curtain rod I had laying around and it wasn’t a tight squeeze at all. When you live in Arizona, you look for ways to keep the dwelling cooler. These are super nice curtains that I put up at the kitchen window. Within minutes I could feel the difference.
