Unfortunately, the box of RXBars arrived on my cheat day and i devoured them. The positive side to this is I am able to type a more accurate, in depth review on these bars. The box comes with a bold but catchy design with a strong color standing out to your eye. Like every other protein bar box, you pull the lip and open from the top giving you access to the amazing 12 protein bars. The box wasn't damaged at all from shipping. The packages the bars were inside were all tightly seal and weren't compromised at all sealing in the great flavors. For my first time ever opening the bag of an RXBar I was very pleased with what I ordered. Comparing to other bars, this one was shorter but wider and just as tall. I can see most of the ingredients listed just not the egg whites of course. The texture of the bar holding it was firm, a bit sticky but not to much to ruin it. My first bite I really savored the flavor of the natural ingredients and immediately tasted the berries and nuts. The texture in my mouth felt more like a candy fruit roll up formed in a bar which left me satisfied when craving for sweets. ***The most positive thing to mention about these bars is the list of ingredients. A short list with names I can pronounce, natural additions, and without added sugars to make these a very ideal choice for someone counting their calories.*** ***The only negative thing to mention about these bars were some of the bits and pieces stuck in between and around me teeth, but it's not enough to dock a point in my opinion.*** I'm excited to try different flavors in the near future! ... show more

I buy RX bars, I buy them a lot. They're unusual, a bit ugly, and you'll chew a lot. Peanut butter and berries is the tastiest one, and it can replace a meal, which may not fun. I have been eating the blueberry version of these for a while now. I wanted a little variety and didn't want a chocolate bar, so I tried these berry ones. They taste good, but stick to my teeth - the blueberry ones don't.

My daughter got me hooked on the RXBars - while my favorite flavor is the pumpkin spice and only offered seasonally this is my second favorite. I got through two boxes every month. What I love about these bars: **The flavor **Limited ingredients **Gluten free - since my daughter and I have celiac we MUST eat gluten free and these are one of the few bars that are limited ingredients and GF **High protein - makes a perfect morning or afternoon snack and helps me not grab junk food in between meals. **Easy to carry in my purse - great for always having something with me that I can eat no matter where I am. Being GF means I have to always be prepared - I never know where I may be that has no GF options. Drawbacks: **Sometimes the bars get hard, which makes them difficult to eat but I have found if I pop them in the microwave for a couple of seconds they are soft and chewy. ... show more
