Ok, so the good- these have a lot of protein, fiber, iron and even a fair amount of potassium (5% is typically more than you see even in potassium supplements). There are some enjoyable cookie-like qualities to it, kind of like a few little clumps of cookie crumbs inside of the bar. Also, a lot of bars substitute sugar alcohol for real sweetener. I found out the hard way that I am super sensitive to sugar alcohol and get bloated and farty on it, so I really appreciate that don't use these. The bad- It tastes a bit chalky and has a hint of a vitamin taste. While it's not actually vitamins that I'm tasting (there are only minerals in it), it is the only way I can describe it. Overall, I was hoping for more. I really want a protein bar that tastes like a cookie. I wanted the peanut butter flavor and texture to come through in the flavor a bit more too. They don't use peanut butter in it, they just mash peanuts into other ingredients in the bar and I guess that is why they claim it is peanut butter chocolate chip. ... show more

I've tried both the almond flavor and the cookies and creme flavor and I definitely prefer the cookies and creme, mainly because it's sweeter due to the white chips! However, I've bought several boxes over the past couple months and the amount of white chips varies very greatly box to box. The bars in one box might have a white chip in every bite and the next box has next to none. That's my biggest complaint though, and as far as complaints go it's not that bad. I also love that there's no artificial sweeteners!! Which is so hard to find in any protein bars/powders so I'm very pleased about that. There's no weird flavors or aftertaste. I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a "dessert" with a little extra protein! ... show more

I absolutely love Oreos and brownies and trying to kick my sugar habit with eating these instead. First off the texture is like a chewy brownie sooooo good. Taste is on point and this is my go to replacement for Oreos or anything really.

Seriously, pop these into the microwave (without their wrapper) for 8 seconds and you have yourself a little chocolate nugget of joy. I am allergic to dairy and egg, so these vegan bars are my go to for flavorful fun-protein. I love that their caloric load is not too dense yet I get a good amount of protein. I could not say enough good about the cookies n cream flavor - it is the superior of all their flavors of this bar (they have 3 right now). You get lots of protein, and some good fiber, with these bars. If you have trouble with whey protein, these are a great alternative. My stomach doesn't do well with whey protein. Also, I have a gluten allergy. They taste amazing! I bring it to work, and it makes for a great snack, or small meal.
