I used this to cover the top of my RV awning which was starting to flake in the New Mexico sun. The sun here bakes everything, and the UV causes awning material to start flaking after only a few years. By applying this tape along the top of the awning, it protects the awning material from the sun while the RV is parked with the awning rolled up. If you want to use this tape for that purpose, just be sure to clean the top of the awning well so it sticks evenly. I used a 20% mix of isopropyl alcohol and water. Going slow and steady to push out any creases makes it look professional enough for my purposes. We'll see how long it holds up, but it feels like it will be up there awhile. ... show more

So I bought this tape last year for wheel-well of my travel trailer. The mesh that was there was dry and torn. I removed the tires first, in this undercarriage is exposed wooden and 2X4” . I first used tape on all the exposed wood, rapping everything. After that I took long strips on tape and stretched it the full length of wheel-well. Like a tight canopy. This tape seems strong and very sticky. I will see if it holds up in weather and how it holds up to not cracking. Right now I am giving it 5 stars on price and thickness. I do wish it was bigger length wise but it did work temporarily until we replace it (still holding) for our travel trailer slideout bottom. Something tore and we used this and it's housing good so far and so leaks ! It's like a xl ductape.

I used this under one of my slides where there was a rip, and where I had to cut a hole in the underbelly to replace a valve. It is holding up on the slide, but it is starting to pull away on the underbelly. I followed the instructions and cleaned the areas very well, and used alcohol to final clean. Pretty disappointing that it is even separating where I overlapped the tape. ... show more
