I purchased this mount for a 32" TV with a 100x100 VESA configuration and since the description said it fits 100x100, I didn't think much about it. Fast forward to following directions and after mounting the main mount onto the wall, I moved on to attach the brackets to the TV. Then after attaching the brackets, I went to hook the brackets to the mount however, there is a center plate that is dividing the cross bars that is wider than the position of the brackets on the TV and therefore I was unable to hook the brackets onto the cross bars. I came back to the description on here and noticed that the description in the pictures (not the paragraph and bullet points) says min 4" by 4" VESA and this is where I was disappointed. 100mmx100mm DOES NOT equal 4" x 4". Google 100mm converted to inches and it is 3.94". The VESA standard is 100mm x 100mm == 3.94" x 3.94". 4" x 4" IS NOT a VESA Standard. This very small difference made it impossible for me to hang my TV on the mount because that center plate is 4" wide but the brackets were only 3.94" apart (maybe even less because they're wider than the screw hole). VESA is a standard concretely defined. Do not make up your own standard. I understand I should have read more to understand this 4" min but when you use 100x100 VESA in the description THAT IS A STANDARD and you expect it to be followed. Do not put it if you don't follow it! It's like buying an HDMI cord but the connector end is slightly larger than any other standard HDMI port so it's kinda there but not really. Not following a standard. Since I already drilled holes and screwed in the lag bolts for the main mount onto the wall, i didn't want to remove the mount and have to return/order a new one and put new holes into my wall.. so what do I do? I end up getting a new TV with a 400x200 VESA standard. Luckily I was able to do an exchange but ended up spending more for a larger TV (43") that fits the mount. I gave it 2 stars because aside from this, the mount appears very strong and sturdy but it's definitely a misleading product for you 100x100 VESA TV owners. Avoid this product unless you are willing to upgrade your TV. I ended up spending way more than I want because this product does not state the standards correctly. BUYER BEWARE

I have used this Wall mount in combination with MD Mounting Dream Universal TV Wall Mount Extension Bracket. Both to gather provided total 10 Inch of Slide in one direction ( total 20 Inch slide). Which allowed the TV ( Samsung 75 Inch QLED ) to be in the center of the wall. It has other full motion which I don't use for regular daily usage, Though it provided all the flexibility for the Cable installations. I would recommend this with any body needing the TV sliding for centering.

** Unit was bent when received... Had to straighten out with flat pliers.. *Not enough variety of hardware. I had to use my own lag bolts (ones supplied too long) and my own hardware to mount the bracket to the TV ( Hardware supplied too long or too short.. even with spacers). I use a New Samsung TV so not anything exotic that would need special hardware, but I did have to obtain my own to make it work. * Motion very stiff** In hindsight I should have sprayed it with WD40 and really stretched out the motion before mounting.

Had a difficult install over a fireplace. I looked for a long time before I selected this mount. This mount made a big difference in that it allowed some horizontal and vertical movement.

You will need a stud finder, drill, and correct sized bit to install it. Also, lifting the TV onto it is really a two person job.

Perfect, your able to slide your tv on the mount from left to right, helped us because of where our studs are in our wall you couldn’t center the tv and this mount helped!
