Another great find n purchase. Omgosh SOOOO much easier than going outside to latch the door. I can easily stay inside, push the door gently to the magnetic ball catch then pull the screen door back. Hubs said it was easy to install and he thinks it’s great too.

Edit: I discovered that the magnet is strong but it has to be placed in an exact spot. If it is off by a tiny bit there is no hold. It will still blow open in a strong wind but does hold up in most situations. The magnet is so weak it won't hold the door open in a light breeze. Very easy to install tho. ... show more

A high wind will force the door loose. The magnet just is not very strong. In mild conditions, it works well to hold a door open and makes it possible to set the door catch without going down the steps.

Cheap garbage. Broke but I made it work and after all that, it has the magnetic strength of a fridge magnet. I don’t see it holding any doors open, ever.
