I have replaced two trailer jacks with this type of electric jack and I loved both of them. One was for a Wells cargo box trailer, which took five minutes to crank up and crank down on tall trucks, the other was a light class travel trailer, whose jack circuitry wore out and was not replaceable. The install was very quick and painless with only three bolts to loosen and replace. The electrical was very simple. Also since it was single wired as the positive was the only feed needed. The chassis is a ground, although hooking up the negative wire is probably suggested. It had no problem. Lifting the travel trailer although it did make a little bit of noise and wobble a little bit from side to side. Didn't seem to affect the function and it worked just fine.

Great easy to use tongue jack. I would give 5 stars but there wasn't anything written about the noise rating and this one is pretty noisy compared to others I have heard.

There were some reviews that would have made me hesitate if I was looking for a 'plug and play' jack, I was planning to modify them so bought them anyway. As for the reviews, there is a light switch (red button) when off no draw. Soldering on one switch terminal bad (friday's) everything elce was great. Good grease in gear box, and under the rubber band a zirk for greasing the spindle (shows about ground level). Well built jack, works well and will lift capacity. Shortened and rewired for levelers on my trailer, aprox 3,000 lift needed to raise the tires off the ground. No problem!!! A couple inches and the trailer feels like it's on a solid foundation, level with the press of a button. Should work good as tongue jack also.
