  • Great information for new RVers!
Even though there were a few grammatical errors, I gave a 5 star because the topic content was so appropriate and helpful for a beginner RV user such as myself.

  • Some Tips & Ideas experienced RV’ers understand...
A leisurely read, that has some great advice & thoughts one really only learns over time & experience (i.e. read ‘mistakes’)...or by reading this book! Save yourself some time, effort and money, while practicing being an armchair RV’er. Finalize that list of items to take along (and leave behind), or refine that all-important checklist of what to do, when! A joy to read and educational as well. Well recommended! ... show more

  • Covers a lot of great information
We are VERY new (in process of buying a Travel Trailer) so was looking for something to give me some insight. This book was great, and now I have a two page list of things I will need to buy. We will only be doing weekend trips but her advice seems more for longer excursions. But that really doesn't matter as 2 days or 5 weeks, all of her tips are going to be used! Thank you Sara. (now if you could just help us pick a camper!!!!) :) ... show more

  • Tent camping!! Wait..err ok maybe not..
I originally purchased this book thinking maybe it might hold some insight on the things not to do or things I wish I'd done when starting out RVing. Instead it's a bunch of things NOT to do to keep your camper SPOTLESS AND NEVER USED! Honestly, this isn't a book for folks just starting out in the RV world. If they want to be like this family, who it would seem, bought an RV (which is no small cost in and of itself), then purchased a bunch of things aside from that initial large purchase (she does shop at dollar stores tho) to basically do everything outside, the way tent campers would. I've tent camped since I was able to walk, my parents were of the mind that if you brought your house with you, why bother camping at all. Ill admit, the RVs these days are not what they used to be, but like my Pop used to say, "why buy it if you aren't gonna use it?" I mean really..the author actually says "the sinks are only to be used in an emergency!". They would have been better off buying a well made large tent along with a canopy to prep meals, cook and eat under as well as showering and cleaning themselves up under and saved themselves a ton of money, but this is just my .2 worth. ... show more

  • Helpful, blunt and easy to read
I enjoyed this book. It was direct, easy to read, and had good ideas. Honestly, I appreciated how “to the point” it is and that the author didn’t waste your time filling pages with fluff. I guess I wished there were a few pics of different ideas, but brands and store ideas are provided, which I found helpful. Thanks! ... show more

  • Great Beginners Book
I have just Porsches my first RV. I love to camp but I am no longer interested in sleeping on the ground. I will be taking my first RV camping trip in two weeks. I really appreciated all the advise offered as I'm planning my first outing. Perhaps I'll have more to say after my trip. I think the book is worth the read. ... show more

  • Great Tips for All Level
This book is not just for beginners. I have been living 3 years on the road. I learned many new things. My favorite and most interesting was the plastic slide in my refrigerator to adjust temperature. I had no idea!
