This camera works great. We’re very happy with it. But, oddly enough, we couldn’t get it to work at first (the monitor, in the truck cab, would not pair with the camera on the back of the RV, although they would pair when together in the truck cab). Then we discovered that the power plug, at the prewired RV bracket on the rear of our RV, had the polarity reversed (+/-). It was the opposite from the 12V in our truck cab. Apparently, this problem originated at the RV factory. In any case, once that was fixed the monitor and camera paired and worked great. Note that at one point the monitor went off on its own, then came back on again later. We didn’t know what was happening at first until we noticed that it was rolling from Cam 1 to Cam 2 and so through Cam 4. When it got back to Cam 1 the monitor came back on again (we only have one camera). As I recall, I somewhat randomly hit the “CH-“ button on the monitor and it stabilized on Cam1. In any case, we’re very happy with it.

I recently installed the BoscamPlus Wireless RV Backup Camera on my Furrion pre-wired RV, and I'm incredibly satisfied with this purchase. Installation was a breeze—it fit perfectly with the Furrion pre-wired mount, and it took less than 25 minutes to set up without any complicated drilling. The dual-antenna signal strength is impressive, even at highway speeds, with no delays or flickering issues. I’ve tested it at various distances, and the signal holds strong. The 1080P screen resolution is another highlight. The images are clear and vivid, even at night, thanks to the infrared night vision. Parking and reversing feel much safer now, as the camera automatically adjusts to low-light conditions, showing every obstacle behind the RV clearly. I also love the split-screen feature, which supports up to four cameras, allowing me to cover all blind spots. This is especially useful for lane changes and monitoring while making turns with my trailer. The smart DVR loop recording is a nice addition. It saves videos directly to a 128GB SD card, and it has a smart overwrite feature to keep my storage free for new footage. In case of an accident, it secures crucial clips separately, which gives me peace of mind on long road trips. Lastly, the IP69K waterproof rating is reassuring. Update: crazy good customer service! This company wanted to make it right, and sent out a brand new camera and monitor! Unheard of. Original post: Worked perfectly for almost 2000 miles. Now it is in and out our entire ride. The only saving grace is that it works when we’re sitting still or backing into our RV spot. Wish it would work while we’re on the road so I could see if I’ve passed somebody.

I’m not impressed with this camera at all right now. It says it’s easy to install with the pre wired Furrion system. It does not fit perfectly. The brackets that come with it do not fit and I had to use other nuts and bolts to hold the camera frame to the pre wired system. I wish that was the worst issue. The cables connected correctly, but at no point did I have a signal between the monitor and the camera. I spent 2 hours messing with it and trying to find videos. There are no helpful videos for installing it, nor how to pair the cameras. The manual it comes with has little explanation of anything. If I don’t get some decent answers, it’ll be returned immediately.

I purchased this camera for my brother who tows a travel trailer and does a fair amount of camping in parks which are not well lit nor laid out well. He travels alone so does not have anyone assisting him backing his rig. His truck has a back-up camera but his camper certainly does not. This camera came well boxed. The box was small enough to handle everything and had no extra packaging, which I really appreciated. The camera is large and heavy duty. The mounting bracket is very sturdy. It is a simple plug and play set-up once you have access to the back-up wiring. The monitor is the largest after market product that I’ve seen. The monitor is already programmed for the camera. The clarity is wonderful and the night vision is excellent. We haven’t used all of the functions as we have no need for them. The only thing that I can see that someone may have a concern with is that there is no suction cup type of device included that can hold the monitor. All in all this is a well built unit that I believe my brother will get years of use out of.

This camera and screen seem to be well built and they feel like a quality product. They are both heavier than some other backup cameras i have had. The mount for the screen and camera is way better than others I have used. The screen has two antennas and the camera also has one. This is a wireless video and audio transmission setup but you have to either hard wire the 12v power to the screen and camera, or use the included 12v power point adapter. That's all the wiring there is. Check out the pictures i posted of the wiring options. I also took pictures of the manual. It is lacking in installation instructions but the screen setup is detailed. You really don't need wiring instructions. It's just 12v positive and 12v negative. This system can support four cameras and all can be viewed at the same time on a four way split screen. The kit also comes with a few other style mounts and accessories. Overall this is a great setup and I would buy it again.
