I purchased this backup camera system for my 2011 Chevy pickup and 23' travel trailer. I am very satisfied and happy with this system. Installation went well and it works as hoped. I have the monitor wired to come on and off with the pickup ignition, the license plate camera to come on when in reverse, and the trailer camera to be on all the time (with an internal switch to turn off when parked). You can use either camera or both with the split screen option. The company gave an option for an extra item, so I got another camera for our horse trailer, but have not yet installed it. The media could not be loaded. Got this camera/monitor set to review from the manufacturer. The set comes well packaged with all the parts needed to test and operate. When testing you need to power the monitor, license plate cam and the second cam all at the same time. I soldered together the three power wires (+red) and then the three ground (-white). They then can be connected to the plug adapter, red to + and white to -. Powered on and the monitor recognized the cameras right away. Picture is full color and nice and clear. Great field of view and in focus from real close too real far. I wired it to the hitch plug so I can easily move it to whichever tow vehicle I need. The second camera I mounted to a board so I can temporarily place it in my truck bed to help me line up the gooseneck hitch/ball on my trailer. ... show more

I have been looking for a while for a wireless system for my 2001 Toyota Tundra and my 2013 Forrest River Cherokee Grey Wolf. I was tired of having people direct me backing into a campsite only to be in the wrong position. The picture quality is sharp and clear. I set up the license plate camera and set up the backing guide lines for lining up the ball in the hitch with the trailer. Hook up first time every time. The trailer camera i set up just below the center rear marker light. I have outstanding field of vision even in low light or dark. I CAN SEE EVERYTHING. With the 7 inch single or split screen monitor. Setup was easy first test the system then place the cameras where you want. Purchased this as a Christmas gift to use on the dually and camper backup. We were able to 'test' one camera with the tester and cigarette lighter adapter included. Went to test 2nd camera and the cigarette lighter adapter doesn't work. Good for one shot. The picture quality was really good. I purchased this camera because they said it could adapt to the pre-wired Furrion setup I have and they would send a template if requested. So, after the lighter adapter quite I sent an email to customer service email in the manual requesting 1) lighter replacement, 2) furrion template, and 3) free gift selection from the manual. It is almost a week and I have had no response to my email. I reached put thru amazon order as well and they have redirected me to the email in the manual. I'm going to resend email and will give it a little more time before I return it for a refund. If I can't get good customer service now for simple things, I'm betting I won't later. They have no phone to call because I now see they are somewhere I've never heard of bit went off good reviews. If I get this resolved timely I'll update my review but until then I'll give it 2 ⭐ ... show more

Easy set up and loved having a 'rear view mirror' for driving cross country. I normally don't drive but the camera system allowed my husband a break as I felt comfortable being able to tow and view the traffic around me.
