I have this dress in black… I love this dress... I bought it about two years ago from Nordstrom… And now that I need a red dress for a Halloween party, I had such confidence in the design and fit, I just ordered the same one in red! So I got this dress yesterday and thought it was odd it was balled up in a small ball packaged I n a cheap bag. And boy… am I badly disappointed… This is not a dress by Dress the Population. The material and design are no better then the cheap store knocks offs you would find in the local low scale mall. There isn’t even a flippin’ tag on the entire dress!!! (Hahahaha!!!) This is so irritating and a massive inconvenience for me. I now have this NASTY dress for a very fashionable Halloween party that fits me poorly. When I say poorly… I’m meaning that it looks worse than cheap and bad bad bad… So I now get to rush to the mall tomorrow morning to try and find a better option. What a pain!!! This is getting really tiresome to have knock offs sent instead of the real item… I think this is the third time that I have been sent something other than what is advertised from Amazon. I wish Amazon could provide an authentication process for merchandise sold on this site because I can’t trust what I’m going to get anymore! I will now have to order branded merchandise direct from vendor or trusted Dept store. This takes away the convenience of Amazon and is moving the industry backward. ... show more

I've come to really love Dress the Population as a brand that I can always depend on. I have several of their dresses and I love the design and fabrics. I bought this gown for my sister's wedding, as the maid of honor. Within 2 hours of wearing it, the front bust seam began to unravel and the bust plunge then lowered nearly two inches.
