I replaced a cast iron/enameled sink with this Ruvati undermount composite granite sink - and I have been completely happy with the choice. The packaging was good and it arrived undamaged. After nearly three months of use I have no regrets. I was concerned that glass or ceramic tableware may break easily if contact is too hard with sink, but to date it has not been a problem. The surface does not feel as hard and unforgiving as I had anticipated. It has also been relatively easy to keep it clean. A quick wipe with a sponge or dishcloth a couple times a day keeps it very clean. I have had no issues with staining at all (I have a water softener though). I am still surprised how quickly the surface dries out after use. In addition, the black color perfectly matches the new granite countertop that was installed at the same time. Overall, I am completely happy with this product.

Love love love love this I shopped far and wide for a black sink. This sink cannot be be at any price. It cleans up so well no matter what I dump in it. It is really a work of art

This sink is spacious, beautiful, and a great accent for people looking for a large black sink! One thing buyers should note, though: you should coat with olive oil and buff before using, and then continue to do so monthly, or bi-monthly, depending on use. If you don't, your sink will start to get spotty after the first use. To coat, generously drizzle olive oil on the bottom of sink and on a paper towel. Thoroughly and evenly, spread olive oil on sides and bottom of sink, covering the entire sink. Buff off with clean paper towels. I'd also suggest purchasing a silicone mat for the bottom to prevent dishes and glasses from breaking. Based on the undermount of our garbage disposal, we bought a sink with the drain on the right. Keep your garbage disposal undermount in mind when deciding on where the drain hole should be. Our plumber installed.

The sink is beautiful, larger than I realized, but very substantial feeling. The installation instructions and template were a little difficult to navigate- be sure to know what code sink you have before cutting your template! One major problem, though. Mine was sent missing two mounting brackets, and the others are of poor quality. Two of the slotted grommets have cracked in half, and even when using an appropriately drilled hole, they pull up from the countertop when screwing in the screw. So, Iโve been unable to securely mount my sink and trust me, with the weight of this thing- youโll need the supports.

The sink is beautiful when it first arrives. Instal was easy and I love the look of it. Unfortunately the sink is impossible to keep black. I am a very diligent cleaner and I wipe the sink out after every use. Would not suggest for anyone with a well for water. Also, the sink does scratch. I am extremely careful with what we put in the sink and to softly set everything down.. however my sink has scratched twice now. Which is disappointing. Overall, itโs a beautiful sink if you can keep it looking black and shiny.. I oil my sink and wipe it out to maintain the color. But the scratches are very discouraging.

Love this sink! Had to hire a granite specialist to cut to fit and install. Took a couple hours and lots of dust but would do it again in a heartbeat! Also had to have a plumber reconnect the supply lines. So much better than a double sink because everything fits in it, Including my dog! So easy to bath him and that alone is worth having it replaced.
