Very happy with the stools, not so much with the assembly. I have assembled more household furniture than I can count without issue, but I really struggled putting this together and had my daughter finish it. She also struggled with the instructions, but did get it done after an hour or so. These are very sturdy and fit perfectly under my kitchen counter overhang and are perfect for young kids to sit at when the dining room chairs are all occupied. Adults could also sit on these when extra seating is needed.

Easy to assemble. Appear sturdy so far in fact I would say that are actually sturdier once assembled that you might think upon unpacking everything. The "engineered wood" looks very plastic like and not realistic, in my opinion. At some point I may source a slab of "actual wood" and carve new seat tops. It would be a cool experience and it would look more authentic.

I originally ordered this 24-inch bar stool to use at my altar, but it ended up being a bit too tall for that purpose. I ended up moving it to my bathroom vanity & it’s better in there. Overall, it’s a pretty basic stool, but it gets the job done. The aluminum legs feel sturdy & secure, & it has a really nice aesthetic that fits easily into different spaces. The saddle seat is comfortable at first—I like how it dips slightly & contours instead of being completely flat. However, I do wish the cushion was a bit thicker or softer. After about 10 minutes, it starts to aggravate my hip dysplasia & causes back pain so it’s definitely better for short sitting periods. One thing I do appreciate is the pricing- you can get one for $34 or a set of two for $57, which is actually a really good deal if you need more than one. Overall, it’s a solid, simple stool that looks nice & feels sturdy, just not ideal for long sitting sessions but cost friendly!

The little bar stool that could. I ordered this bar stool to see if it would be a good fit for our new countertop island. I was surprised that it seemed smaller than it was. It's almost as if the stool would be a great option for the new tiny home trend. We have two older, taller barstools, which crowd the legs when an adult sits in one. The best discovery was when I sat on the stool. It put me at just the right height, and I feel comfortable when sitting at the counter. I got this more casual stool for the visiting grandchildren because the stool would appear to be easier to negotiate. It sat at the perfect level for me when I was perched on it, but it was a bit low for the kids. While I will probably buy a second and third, it will be when the kids have a few more inches in height. And that, dear reader, is only months away; these kids grow so fast!
