This is just what I needed for my bench's iron sections. I wish it had come in a smaller amount though, but even so it was not too expensive. I recently used the deep blue paint and was impressed by the overall quality and ease of application. The paint had a smooth consistency, offering excellent coverage with minimal effort. After just one coat, the color was vibrant and true to the sample — though I applied a second for a perfectly even finish. The drying time was reasonable (about 1 hour to touch, 3 hours to recoat), I did have a fan pointed directly at the items, and there was minimal odor, which made the process more pleasant as I had to paint indoors because of the weather. Really good quality paint. My table came out beautiful. I had to use two coats because I didn't use a primer. I painted the trim on my table because stain would not take on the veneer. It matches the chairs perfectly so I may buy more to paint the chairs too that are kind of beat up.

The paint was very easy to use. I wanted to use it to paint the trims in my bedroom and it worked really well. The initial color gave off a maroon-ish color, which threw me off initially but once the paint dries it was a beautiful dark brown. I painted three layers to make sure that it was fully covered. The final look was not streaky at all, and it adds a glossy look as well. In terms of smell, I honestly did not think it was a terrible smell. From what I researched it usually takes an hour for touch-to dry and 24 hours to fully cure, but it took about 15-30 mins for my trims to dry and I was able to touch it with no smudges. ... show more

Whew. I was really scared when I got this in and it felt like pure liquid inside the can. I had no idea that it was oil-based, probably because I didn’t read so did a sample swatch with a paintbrush just to see how it would cover and ended up just having to go full tilt since I didn’t have any paint thinner on hand to clean the brush. I managed to paint an entire thing with a small little brush that’s meant for chalk paint, And I’m pretty sure that it’s really streaky. It does drip since it’s so thin so you need to apply very sparingly, and plan to do a few coats. There’s no getting around it. I painted a very dark cherry wood bedframe, and since I was only doing a patch, I didn’t sand or prep at all. But this stuff bonded like a champ. I’m really impressed with the coverage and bonding of this paint and will definitely buy it again for future projects. I feel like spraying this paint would be the best option since it’s so thin and it would be perfect for that, however, it worked just fine with the brush. So far, I have two coats on and plan to get an actual based brush to do the third. I think if I had the brush all along, I have only had to do two coats. Dries to the touch within an hour But I decided to wait longer for the second coat after the first few swipes because it seemed like it was moving the paint around, so it clearly wasn’t cured yet.
