I bought this because our electric goes out quite often even though we're right outside of Nashville and one night our electric went out and it was pitch dark in the house and my youngest started crying so I just took it out and plugged in a lamp. And since then I have tried different things for off grid survival if necessary. I bought a small Btu air conditioner and it will use 2 batteries to run it for about an hour but that air conditioner will keep 1 bedroom ice cold. So also bought dual hotplates to plug into it and a fan and multiple other things that will work with it. I like it so well I bought another one. So now I have 2 of them! I love it! ... show more

Battery cell packs: All seem to be healthy. They make a slightly annoying beep sound when you turn them on individually, but it's not a deal-breaker for me (if you need total silence, you might want to avoid this whole set in general). Solar panel: I've never gotten 100w (typically 60-70w), but admittedly the weeks I have been using this have never been perfectly sunny. Solar generator: Works well, haven't had any major issues. Makes a light beeping noise when turned on. Fans will engage whenever "high" power is drawn (I don't have an exact wattage for this and it also depends on the temperature of the battery cells). The fans aren't very loud in my opinion. Note: In order to use the wireless charger on top of the unit, you have to turn on the "DC" portion of the generator. Solar connector: Had an issue with this part. It's a proprietary solar connector that lets you plug the solar panel directly into two Runhood battery cell packs. My issue was that only one of the cables would charge a battery. I contacted Runhood support about this with some example videos and they ended up sending me a replacement (which functioned correctly). So far, so good with customer service. Power adapter (110V AC 80w): Works well, but will not handle anything heavy-duty (80w isn't much). Power adapter (2 USB-A 28w, 2 USB-C PD 100w): Works well, easily my most used component for day-to-day. I charge cell phones, tablets, drone batteries, and laptops with this frequently while on the go. Carrying bag: Good quality, holds everything in this set with some room to spare in the side pockets. The zippers can sometimes be frustrating when they get caught on folds/corners. Overall: Build quality is decent. A lot of plastic enclosures, etc. (this keeps the weight down, but we all know it's cheaper for the manufacturer as well). I've used this when camping to power a fan and other lighter accessories (phones, lights, etc.) and it did a great job. I was intrigued by the modularity of this system and so far I'm glad I purchased it. Hoping to use these battery packs until they no longer hold a decent charge and just buy new battery packs. We'll see how this entire set holds up over time. ... show more

I waited a while b4 writing an review so I could try and test everything. I love that it has interchangeable batteries and that you can buy more separately (which I plan to do), and that you can use them by themselves is great. No issue with solar panels. Charges batteries just fine, it's just remembering to shift panels around as sun moves bc it does take time when at low charge. This thing can power more than I thought it could and it's great to know if we lose power I can still use our keurig and a portable stove top. It aslo covers tv, microwave, ninja, blender, ice maker (sm) and every small electronic. Only downside i have really is weight of it all together. Upside, with so many parts the bag really is a nice touch. But time will tell about it's ability to last. ... show more

I like the unique options it offers but they did not send the solar panels shown where you can prop them up with the stand on the back so I had to buy 6 stands to prop them up. Why are some Runhood power stations with the same type of equipment in each size (600 and 1200) have different return policies to the manufacturer. I see that some are returnable within a grace period and some are not returnable in the same grace period brand new and unopened. Why is that? I do have a brand new 600 mini package that is unopened that you will not let me return, why is that! ... show more

Notified Runhood customer service who tried to trouble shoot the problem not able to determine cause of malfunction. They were quick to replace unit!! Received new unit and works great.
