The drone is great for beginners. My 12 years son loves it. We did have an issue where we lost control of it, flying off out of sight and was not retrievable. However, the costumer service was great and they replaced the drone for use after we provide then the flight logs. Make sure you take off from a level surface for the best flight control. ... show more

This little drone is flight ready except for fully charging the batteries right out of the box. The app was easy to download and the instructions in the app are easy to follow. I don't have the best GPS coverage in my area so it takes a few extra rotations to calibrate the GPS in preflight but it does connect and still stays put pretty well in light winds. 10 mph or a bit more is about all the wind you really want to fly this in. It will fly but the lack of a gimbal really effects video stability. I knew this going in to this though. All in all it's a pretty decent little drone. ... show more

We bought 4 of these f11 mini for our inspection company to use on residential and commercial buildings. The drones were very hard to calibrate and trying to get a GPS signal was almost impossible. Every single drone we bought would never fly steady. They would go up, down, side to side and sometimes it would go totally out of control and Dart out in one location until it crashed into something. When I called the manufacturer, they told me it could be the wind. I'm like 4 drones flown in different areas on different days doing the exact same thing and you think it's the wind. They were useless in helping me and wanted me to send them the flight controls for each drone. At this point we were fed up and wanted our money back. We even asked if this was common with the drones, they wouldn't answer me. After reading all the 1 star reviews here, this is a very common problem. I don't even believe the good reviews are real. They can't be. Save your money, go with dji, they are much better quality. Even if they cost a bit more. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My kid's bought me an F11 GIM2 for my birthday back in February. Never having any experience with drones, I lost it on my second attempt while camping at Mammoth. Fortunately, I was able to get a replacement at a reasonable cost from RUKO (these guys are great!). If I would have had this one, that would have never happened as it is so easy to learn and fly. The controls are very simple, which is great as it gives me more confidence while learning the basics. Love that it has all the Intelligent Flight Mode features too. It flys well and takes great photos, clear as my F11 although, video is not as stable (see video) being the camera is not on a gimble but, that's what keeps the cost down. I like that it comes with three batteries and three charging cords to be able to recharge all batteries quicker. Very compact so it stores easily. If you are a beginner like me, I highly recommend you purchase this drone before advancing to the more expensive ones. On that note, If it wasn't for me getting my F11 as a gift, I would have been very satisfied with this drone and it's performance. ... show more

I played around with a few cheaper drones prior to this as I’m only starting out with them, all of which I thought were fine but didn’t have great battery life and definitely falsely advertised their camera quality. The battery life is what drew me to try this drone on top of its obvious enhanced features. However, upon receiving this drone, it immediately made me realize what a quality drone actually is. Sturdy, easy to use and navigate, excellent video and picture quality, great transmission distance and more. The only thing that could make it better is if it had collision avoidance but there are other models with that, I just didn’t choose to get.
