Great little hand saw overall. It’s nice and sharp, easy to control, and the flexible blade makes flush cuts simple. I used it on a small project and it handled everything really well. Cutting hardwood trim was quick with the larger teeth, and it left a clean finish. Portability is a big plus. The 6 inch size makes it easy to carry around the shop or toss in a tool bag without taking up much space. For small‑scale woodworking or quick cuts, it’s a perfect size. Value for money is solid too. For the price, the quality of the blade and the accuracy you get are impressive. The beech handle feels good in the hand and the saw has a durable feel overall. The only thing I’m not a big fan of is the plastic sheaths that cover each side. They’re not ideal, but aside from that the quality and design are excellent. This isn't the best one I've ever had but it's certainly the most affordable. Cuts straight, has double sides for rip and cross cuts. It's also flexible and compact, which can be handy. I've seen advertisements for these things a lot. And I didn't want to invest in some thing that was going to cost me a huge amount of money until I was able to at least try it out to see if it would work for me. This was mainly going to be used for smaller pieces, crafting woodwork, things like that. During our storms Our gate door was torn off one of the hinges. I purchased a few pieces to be able to fix it and realized that they were not the size or the shape that I needed them. This little hand saw easily cut through; quite accurately i might add, through the boards that I had purchased to reinforce the fence gate. 6inches wide 3/4 thick. It took me a few moments to learn the motion with the cutting, but I have used numerous handsaw in. This was by far the easiest to be able to use. When I realize that I also needed to shave off about an eighth of an inch, it was not difficult to cut that eighth of an inch off with this thin saw. We've used it to be able to trim branches easily, and I've used it numerous times to cut Pieces that were in awkward angles, or that I would not be able to fit a regular saw or more importantly, a power tool in there. I will tell you I was worried about the cost, I was worried about the functionality, I was worried about the craftsmanship of this blade, and if it was going to just bend and be done with, and I was pleasantly surprised and all of those aspects. Typical of what I expected from Ruitool. Great quality product at a reasonable price. Teeth on blade are very sharp and tough. The handle is finished better than the item picture would indicate. Again, great workmanship from ruitool. If I had to criticize anything, it is that the handle rivets are on flush with the wood. I consider this to be a minor issue that causes no operational problems. I will not hesitate to buy other products from this company. I failed to mention how well the saw cut on both soft and hardwoods. Just remember to use a light touch; not much more than the weight of the saw is needed. I was impressed by how cleanly and smoothly the cuts were made. An enjoyable experience! ... show more

I couldn't be happier with this little saw. My husband has all the heavier equipment (chainsaw, skill saw, etc,...) that I can't handle. But he is always busy so I needed a saw for miscellaneous little jobs such as shortening a broom handle and trimming tree branches that were hanging over our roadway. Super sharp, very lightweight and super effective. Keep in mind that it is a "pull" saw, so the main cutting will be done when you pull.
