Idk why they put that in the description I knew it wouldn’t but I didn’t buy it to cool. It’s a good weight and good feel for microfiber. Not usually my favorite material but this is fine. Bought this on sale during Prime Day and it was definitely a great purchase! Threw it in the washer straight out of its shipping bag and after a spin in the dryer, it was fluffed up and ready to go. Material is soft and I love that it has straps on the corner to keep it from moving around inside our duvet cover. We have a king size bed and like the comforters a little bigger. I read a bunch of reviews on different inserts and finally made the decision on this one. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! It is so comfy, soft and just enough fluffyness. It is heavy enough for all seasons! We live in Texas and my husband likes to sleep with the ceiling fan, floor fan and a fan on his face. Needless to say, I stay cold and always needed an extra blanket (no matter the season). This insert is definitely extremely close to hotel quality and that's what I was looking for! It's all about the fabric and inner filling with this duvet insert that makes it so great. The fabric is buttery and soft. The filling is light and fluffy without being dense. With that being said, it is heavy enough to be warm and cozy. AND the pattern is also very pretty. Sooo happy w the purchase
