Bought this for my hubby for Christmas this year. I irdered the 13,500 lb size, it's for his car hauler trailer. It's heavy duty! Can't beat the price for this much winch!! Came packaged well, all accessories are with it And came with instructions too! The remotes seem ok, we'll see if they last. And will also see if the wires are long enough, lol! Other reviews mentioned, it's NOT waterproof or even water resistant! That's ok thou, I showed my hubby the reviews. With that info; he's gonna check & tighten & gasket/waterproof the winch himself, before he installs it. This size has a 7.2 hp motor. That's a lot more hp, than ANY other brand, I compared, even ones with more pull lbs! All in all a great deal, if it lasts a few years! I highly recommend this item! I hope it's as heavy duty as it looks!! I will update if there's any problems.

I bought this for the specific purpose of pulling a cart up an inclined rail needing 80' of cable. This unit advertises 85' of 3/8" galvanized cable which is one of the reasons I purchased it. It came with 58' of cable which seemed like an honest mistake. I contacted Charles from customer support and explained that I was in Panama and couldn't just return it within 30 days so he agreed to an 'out of the box' solution and sent me a couple of pulleys to make up for me having to buy new cable. The winch performed perfectly and did way more than it was advertised to do. I am very happy with it and with Rugcel.

The bracket broke when trying to load a midsize car on to a car trailer the winch itself was not the problem. The bracket snapped and is not durable enough for the weight that the winch can withstand. Then the replacement time was over a month and a half still waiting.
