Don't buy this, cheap quality and bad customer service from Rugcel. We owned this winch for only 9 months, never even used it, then we noticed the steel cable was breaking. We live in a dry climate with no salt on the roads, and a cover was always on the winch. Contacted customer service with a picture of the damaged cable, they did respond, saying they couldn't see the damage in the picture, so we sent a zoomed up picture of the damage. Then complete silence from them, no response. We had to go buy our own replacement cable just to have a working winch.

Works as intended however the instructions need serious work. The “Mother Earth” terminal and ground wire terminal you have to run to the battery is located on the bottom of the winch. Do NOT run the ground from the top of the winch to the battery!! You will cook your wires and winch.

Appears to be a good quality winch. Wireless remote is very handy. If purchased, replace the 12v supply cables. What is supplied with the winch is just very fine stranded wire inside plastic/PVC tubing.
