Love this life jacket. Way less bulky so my dog can wear it the whole time while we kayak. My Vizsla is 60 lbs, small neck deep chest. M is a good size, neck is tightened and the rib cage straps are almost as loose as they will go.

I don’t usually leave reviews on products, but I am pretty upset about what happened to the lifejacket that I just started using. It’s gonna be kind of a long review but it’s worth reading. I bought this life jacket last year during the summertime and just started using it this past weekend because my pup has felt more comfortable going into the water using this lifejacket it got extremely dirty And I just wanted to have it get a good clean so I asked on the page of this post if you could put this lifejacket in the washing machine and within minutes, I got people replying to my comment and saying yes you can put this in the washing machine on a gentle or cold water cycle so I said OK cool I’ll do it. Another thing to keep in mind. People had also told me not to put it in the dryer. Let the air dry so I said OK easy enough. It’s hot outside. When the cycle got done, I went to go get the lifejacket and it completely destroyed it as you can see in the photo and the foam is all over the washing machine inside and out along with the other materials that were made in the lifejacket is now all over my washing machine so if you thought about washing your dogs, life jacket in the washing machine this is your sign to not do that because Even though this unfortunate thing happened to my jacket, I am unable to get a replacement or anything due to when I last bought this and these are not cheap so don’t put this in the washing machine. It will destroy it. !!! ... show more

My guy Chewie is a 120lb water dog. There is no water he will not attempt to swim in. We live in the Ozarks where lakes, rivers and creeks all collide positioned .5 mile from the lakeside. One of my biggest fears is that Chewie will jump from cliffsides and he has on many occasions without a vest. Each and every time I die inside. It's just an anxiety I no longer have to worry about. This is a tremendous game changer. Chewie can go on extended boat rides, swim in open lake and climb on a large lake lily pad with his life vest on. The vest adds a noticeable buoyancy to the girthiest section of his body. He no longer has to snorkel swim. He head is fully elevated above the water. He will wear his vest for long periods of time in full comfort with easy mobility. It's not bulky or cumbersome on his already thick body. The color is bright and a great contrast against the water especially open water. I am positive this vest not only prevents a unsafe environment for my dogs but also prevents an unsafe environment for me. I would be that person who will do anything to safe m6 dog from danger even if it meant jumping off the cliff after him. ... show more
