I purchased the largest size avaliable because I wanted my 10 lb little guy to have as much room as possible. He has always had free run of the house while I'm gone...but as he has gotten older, for some reason he will not use his potty pad when I'm not here. Instead he chooses table legs etc. Never on the carpet. Thank goodness...but this new attitude is not acceptable to me. So this was my answer. He seems to be fine with it. I have his small bed in there and a potty pad. I left him for about 3 hours the first day I got it and was hoping he would be fine. I've seen pictures in other reviews where dogs had turned them over or chewed them. When I got home, he was curled up happily sleeping in his bed. I like the portability of it. The ease to put it up or take it down. How his view is open all around so he doesn't feel trapped and it seems very well made. There was no panic destruction by him at all. I do believe that your dogs personality will determine if you are happy with the product or not. If your dog has a calm mild personality, then this cage will be fine. If your dog is not comfortable being caged in any way, then perhaps you would want to look at something stronger to contain them. But for my dog, this is a perfect solution for temporary containment. ... show more

Perfect sized play pen for a new puppy. Really love the ability to move it around easily. Love the quality of this product. I can see my little puppy from all angles and the zipper door and top cover is well done. I would recommend this for all small dog owners.

I love this product! I purchased it for a new puppy and it fits her perfectly. I love the portability of the play pen. I work from home so it sits in my upstairs office during the work day and is easily brought back downstairs in the evenings. The top openi g is great for easy in and easy out. And the open door at the side works great...when its downstairs she can come and go as she wants. She has tried to chew through the screen, gnawed on the opening flaps and tried to dig through the floor and so far, she has been unable to damage it. It will also be great to have when we are visiting family. I highly recommend! ... show more

Bought this for my new puppy since I will be bringing her to work and don’t want her running around everywhere. Easy to set up and pack away and take on the go. Difficult to clean the bottom since it’s fabric invade your animal has an accident.

    • Strong odor and extremely lightweight

The playpen looks cute and was easy to get into operation. But it is very light. My puppy is only 2 pounds but I ordered the medium to give him room to move around more. Any bigger dog could probably topple the playpen onto its side. The worst problem is that it has a strong odor. I can only imagine how strong the smell is to the dog with its hypersensitive nose. I’m hoping the smell dissipates quickly. I like that it’s got the soft plastic bottom in case of accidents. ... show more

This product exceeded my expectations! Great quality and the medium size is exactly what we needed for our Mini Schnauzer pup! It will be perfect for our upcoming travel as it is super lightweight and compact. We are also using it as a holding spot for when we can't have eyes on the puppy inside (potty training, chewing,etc.) I wish I had a product like this 15+ years ago when we trained our first pups...what a great product at a great price!! ... show more
