I've had one of these same buckets for 15 years, or more. It didn't break - I broke it : ( I accidently dropped it and the bottom hit on a large jagged rock. This bucket was so good that it almost didn't punch through. Once I found this same bucket, at the best price, I ordered 3 of them and I'm so glad to see that they are very close, if not exactly, the same as the old one. It's rare that I find anything that fits that description. This bucket is the only bucket I trust to fill with water and then carry by its handle through my house. I have used various quality / priced buckets and it only took once for the handle to break right off as I carried 2 gallons of water. It will be a while before I Fill these new buckets- I'' work my trust up a gallon at a time. They say they are still made in USA. They seem to be made as well as my old one. ... show more

It's very sturdy; it can handle being filled with sand or heavy tools. It's comfortable when moving tools or compost. The only change I would make would be an offer of other colors for this model. This is the best heavy-duty bucket available for the money. It sports an improved shape, and it's easy to use. However, the only thing lacking is 1-quart markings on the inside. We use these buckets for a lot of functions that require measuring, and our old Rubbermaid bucket had 1-quart markings. It's not a show stopper, but it sure would be nice to have a way to know how much liquid is in the bucket without having to use and alternate mode of measuring or estimating. ... show more
