I've always needed a party platter tray like this. My mom used the round Tupperware version of this when I was younger and I always felt I needed the same thing, but this Rubbermaid version is even better! I love that it's rectangular so it's easier to store in the refrigerator. I bought 2 - one for veggies and one for fruit - for a birthday party. It worked out so incredibly well. I love the optional bowl with lid for the middle too. I used it in the fruit tray for cheese, and didn't use it for the veggie tray because I just used a store bought veggie dip which mostly fit in the center spot. These trays are so roomy. They are big, but exactly the size I was hoping for. We had about 20 adults and 10 kids at our party and there were some leftovers since we had other food too. Easy to clean, very strong durability, and keep prep food fresh for days when I left out of town for emergency came back week later cleaning out fridge I smell the food in container and surprise it smell good and tomatoes, lettuce still look fresh. I was influenced by two different Instagrammers to purchase this product to help our family eat more veggies. It works. If I keep it stocked with fresh-cut veggies and set it out before dinner, they will munch and snack. If I forget to, they revert back to their old habits, even when there are bins of veggies in the fridge. Having them ready-to-eat is a game changer. The tray itself is thinner than I would have hoped, but it is dishwasher safe and has served its purpose. The size is ample enough for a family of 6, and stores quite easily in our fridge. I wouldn’t spend more than $15 for it, but for that price point, it served the needs of my family and I’ll continue to use it and will likely replace it with the same item when it wears out. ... show more

Love this tray. Was trying to prep veggies, and keep in the fridge so they were easy to pick for a snack. Tray is also dishwasher safe! Can’t beat that. The bowl that is given for the middle, is also great and a good size! Great quality. Love this purchase

I got this so that there will always be a healthy vegetable option and dip whenever someone needs a snack. The plastic cover is thin, so if you are traveling with this container to a party do not put anything that weighs more than piece of paper on top.

I use this to store cut up veggies for the week. Lid seals well. So much room for veggies and still fits in fridge. Very sturdy and easy to take with you to parties. I’m glad I have one.

This is a good quality 5-compartment serving tray (plenty deep), that has a clear cover (my choice, as I did see it came in colors, too). There is a sturdy, covered container that sits into the center compartment. You can remove that round container or leave it in that space. It has so many uses. Today I filled each compartment with cold, dry fruit (strawberries, blackberries, pineapple chunks, grapes). I used the center for chocolate I melted in the microwave, and my family had a great time dipping fruit into the melted chocolate. Like I said, it has so many uses, and I'm sure you'll think of plenty of them. Now for the clincher--Yesterday, just a few days after I bought mine on amazon, I saw the same Rubbermaid Party Platter for twice the price. I was very surprised.
