Sturdier than it looks. Installing it was a little bit of a pain. The legs go a lot lower than it looks. Had to make some adjustments to get it to fit. Still very happy w/ the outcome.

One of the pieces were bent but I still managed to get it hung up without it. Not worth the hassle of returning and buying a new one. It was very hard to get it hung up. Definitely takes two people maybe three. It works for what I needed it for. I'm just not very good at hanging shelves lol.

The Rubbermaid Linen Closet Shelf is well made and sturdy. Easy to follow instructions walk you through how to install it right down to the spacing of the drill holes to put the wall anchors. I would also say to follow the directions! I did for the securing the top part of the shelf, but for the legs, I thought it would follow the same method as the top, but it doesn't. You have to put the leg against the wall then insert the wall anchor, then put the screw in. If you do it the same as the top, the leg hole will slip over the screw head. It is as strong and sturdy shelf, but to me is a bit on the expensive side for what it is. I'm still happy with it and feel confident it will be durable enough to last a long time. ... show more
