I replaced the rollers on my Cricut Maker today. After soaking in boiling water for 5 minutes, these new rollers slid on easily. The taking apart the machine was a bit more challenging. The instructions included on tell you how to get the rollers onto the bar. They do not tell you how to get the machine apart or back together but instead tells you to look it up on YouTube. My Cricut did not come apart easily as the examples on YouTube, but I was very happy with the results in the end. My Cricut is working great in the end. Other materials that you will need to take about your machine are something thin to pry off the plastic cover on the hinge of the lid, a very small star bit (I am not sure of size), a very short Philips head screwdriver or a ratchet wrench that can hold a bit, pliers, and possibly a file or Dremel if your machine needs the hole for the roller bar to fit through to take it out (mine needed this). ... show more

It took almost a month to get to me but I am glad to have it just in case. Videos seem straight forward, but then I fix printers, computers, and other electronics. Here's hoping I won't need it, but if I do, the rollers are made of a sturdy rubber and I have the tools needed.
