RTIC soft cooler 20 can insulated bag. These are expensive - but worth it. They work very, very well keeping shock packs frozen for over 24 hours. If you want to be sure your cooler is cooling - these are worth it. Maybe a few less dollars than the other brand - starts with a Y. I'm saving to buy larger ones too - Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved). Those numbers used to fluctuate over time - up and down but I noticed that they stopped updating regularly - perhaps to phase them out. It's a shame because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer.     • Iced down beer for days in 100 degrees
I'm a fan of Yeti... I have many Yeti coolers. I wanted a soft sided cooler for and extended off road motorcycle trip this last summer. I knew I would be at or near a town every other day and I wanted to keep my beer cold while out camping away from any services... I almost bought a Yeti soft sided cooler but saw this on Amazon when I did my search... I decided to try it out and see... and at more than $100 less than a comparable Yeti, I was interested if anything would work as good. Like I said, I have a few Yeti products and they do what they say they do... they are amazing and in my 105 qt Yeti cooler, I can keep ice for 7-9 days in the sun... no question they do work. When I got this RTIC I was surprised at how well it was built. The features it had and I was anxious to try it out. I am glad I did. I would pack a 12 pack of beer in it and a 10 lb bag of ice... it worked flawlessly and kept my beer cold, kept ice for 2 days even in 100 plus degrees. The ice did melt somewhat but I still had ice mixed with melted cold water and it was still plenty cold.... This thing was in the 100 degree sun all day on the back of a motorcycle. It did come loose from one of my tie down straps...(my fault) when I hit some large ruts and jolted the pack loose... it hung off the bike for maybe 3 or 4 miles before I noticed it hanging there off to the side... but the zippers never leaked... I never tore a loop off the cooler or did any damage to it whatsoever... this thing is well made, does what it says it will do and you'll be happy with it.... ... show more

This is a nice cooler, keeps items cold and easily holds 12-16 oz bottles and a bag of ice. This is a replacement for one I have had for about 12 years (I ruined the zipper, not a defect in the product) One of the things I liked best about the old one were the D-rings, they unfortunately are not available on the new one, I carry this cooler on motorcycle trips so the d-rings made tie down very easy and secure. They also eliminated the back pocket which was nice place to store coozies. They have added a comfortable handle that wraps around the carrying straps so that is a nice addition. The new also did not come with a shoulder strap, though the description says it is included, perhaps an over-site on mine, I used the one form the old one so no big deal for me. As I say overall I would recommend however the new one is only 4 stars while the old was was definitely 5…I am hopeful they go back to the old design in the future. The cooler works as intended and did not leak. I like the shoulder strap length which makes it easy to carry. I have used frozen water bottles instead of ice packs or loose ice, and that worked well for my purposes. My only complaint is that the zipper is a little tight so they give you a little tube of lubricant to use with the zipper to help address this problem which will have to be reapplied periodically. ... show more
