I recently purchased the RTIC Soft Cooler, Ice Chest 30 can for a weekend camping trip with friends, 30 can size so I could pack 5lb bag of ice with it. While the cooler itself is spacious enough to fit all our drinks,snacks, and ice I found it to be too heavy to carry for long distances. In hindsight, I wish I had gone for a smaller size that would have been easier to manage. The zipper on the cooler is of high quality, but unfortunately, the insulation doesn't keep ice as long as I had hoped. After only a few hours, the ice had already started to melt, and by the end of the day, most of the ice had melted completely. Overall, I'm a bit disappointed with this purchase, as I was hoping for a cooler that could keep my drinks cold for at least a day. However, I will say that the cooler is well-made and seems to be durable, so it may work better for shorter trips or for those who don't need to keep ice for an extended period. If you're looking for a cooler that can keep your drinks cold for a long time, I would suggest looking elsewhere. However, if you're in the market for a well-made cooler for shorter trips or outings, the RTIC Soft Cooler may be a good option for you. ... show more

Only problem I'm having is with the zipper. Even after using the lubricant that came with it, still hard to open and close. I hope the zipper doesn't break. Other than that, it's a good cooler.

After purchasing cheaper coolers, I decided to bite the bullet and spend the extra money. I don't regret the decision. I F'n love this cooler. The zipper is tight but sturdy, it's like that because it completely seals when closed. The zipper lube helps. I use it as a daily lunch/drink cooler. Use reusable plastic ice packs. This is a great cooler for the money. I needed a new cooler to take to car shows. Staying all day in the heat and sun I need cold drinks. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the zipper is very hard to zip and unzip. I hope it gets easier with use.
