Stays cold for long period of time. Is what I expected. Some people here complained about the zipper handle breaking but you can’t expect to operate zipper by the end of a plastic piece - duh - move zipper with fingers on the metal part of zipper and it will be just fine.

Cooler is the perfect size that keeps things cool for almost the same as a yeti for Half the price. The quality of the cooler is great and the brand is a good one to show off, if you’re into that. The cooler provides space for the right amount of drinks for two people. However, that depends on what I’m drinking, which I’m never drink more then what the cooler provides (setting limitations). But if you’re a drinker or hangout with a group of friends a lot, then the next size would still be a good buy based on quality. ... show more

I got this for my husband for father's day. It's the perfect size for us to carry to the pool or beach, and it definitely keeps things cool. I appreciate that it's on the lighter side (like a soft-sided cooler) but is much easier to clean that cooler bags. I'm taking a star off because the zipper open/close isn't smooth. It doesn't catch, you just have to really pull hard, and sometimes you want to just quickly get into the cooler without a lot of effort. The cooler is great and keeps items cold as well as other more expensive ones. The zipper is very difficult to use and I can see how others have had it fail. We are keeping it lubricated and hoping it lasts. The main reason I purchased this is for my husband to carry a few beverages when golfing. Unfortunately, it does not fit in the center of a golf cart where he was planning to have it. Just passing that along in case anyone else had the same idea. ... show more

So, picture this, folks. It's the Fourth of July, the sun is shining, and my 12 Can Soft Cooler by RTIC is ready to be the star of the show. I'm all pumped up, ready to crack open some cold ones and have a jolly good time. Little did I know, this cooler had a devious plan up its zipper sleeve. Let's get straight to the point, friends. This cooler's zipper is as flimsy as a wet noodle doing yoga. I pulled on it, and it snapped like a twig, leaving me with a drink prison that even Alcatraz would be proud of. My poor beverages were trapped, sentenced to a cold and lonely existence. Now, don't get me wrong. The cooler's insulation game is on point. It could keep a snowman chillin' in the Sahara. But here's the deal: once it seals shut, that zipper ain't coming undone. It's tighter than your pants after a week of Thanksgiving leftovers. It's like this thing got a PhD in holding things hostage. I gotta admit, there's a certain charm to this cooler's determination. It's like a clingy ex who just won't let go. But hey, my drinks need to spread their wings and fly, mingle with other beverages and have a grand ol' party. Instead, they're stuck in the cooler, forming a support group for trapped liquids. Now, I'm not one to complain without offering a solution. RTIC, my buddy, my pal, I kindly request a refund for this ice-cold comedian of a cooler. While I appreciate the laughs, I also appreciate my beverages having a fighting chance at socializing. It's time to set them free, like the wild stallions they were born to be. So, to all you adventurous souls out there eyeing this cooler: be prepared for an epic insulation experience. But bring a backup plan for drink liberation, because this zipper's grip is tighter than a clam's squeeze on a pearl. In the end, let's raise our glasses to a cooler that means well but could use some zipper-zazz.
