Let me start by saying I love RTIC but this product falls short of the top notch quality I’ve become accustomed to with RTIC. First it smelled like hot garbage, then I tried to put it on like a back pack, unless you’re a midget it’s not going to fit well and I’m 6’2 220# so, even with the straps fully extended, it felt like I was going to pull the straps off the cooler. That’s the next thing, the way the straps are attached made me concerned this would not last like my RTIC hard coolers. The zipper was also cheap feeling and I’m sure had I actually used this, I would have bent to tie my shoes and been soaked…. Not a chance the zippers were waterproof…. I returned it and will wait for them to fix the quality issue, but I still love all my other RTIC stuff ... show more

    • The zipper will break
It's not a question of if, but when. The zipper is guaranteed to break. After only the 3rd time I used it, the zipper snapped off. It's extremely difficult to zip and there is a lot of resistance.

I was disappointed that this cooler was not as durable as one would expect. After one single use, the zipper busted and could not be closed anymore.

I have owned two coolers that have both failed on the zippers I love their product I think they're a great everyday use lunch bag. The only problem is the zippers fail, both lunch boxes I got, "one was a replacement, you only get one replacement by warranty through rtic" the zippers failed came apart got stuck and yes I did apply the wax religiously on the zippers they need to beef up their zippers like yeti at least That's the only thing yeti has on these guys ... show more
