  • Worth the money if you use it for an extended. And spend a lot of money on ice
Color: Tan
I am not the kind of person to spend a s*** ton of money on something just because of its name. originally I had been looking at a yeti cooler as friends and told me it does actually keep your stuff cooler longer. I then heard from Friends the story of Rtic and its relationship to yeti but I'll let you Google that for yourself. Before making such a lofty purchase I did a cost-benefit analysis. We have a seasonal site at a camping resort and even though we have two refrigerators my husband insists that his beer be on ice at all times. Thus we were spending quite a bit of money on ice. It worked out to be 350 to $500 a season. Our friend said that with their RTIC Coolers they were going through about a third of the ice that we were going through. That was cost justification enough for me... We would easily see our return on investment after the first season. We have had the cooler for a couple of months through three heat waves and to date, we are holding true to spending about a third of the money on ice that we had previously. This cooler is incredibly sturdy and stays clean and looks beautiful next to our older coolers. The only thing I'm not crazy about which I would imagine is essential to keeping the lid shut are the tabs to keep the lid shut because sometimes it is very difficult to open them. I realize that this is part of what makes the cooler work so well so I guess I have to live with it. overall I would highly recommend this cooler though I wish I could have gotten the blue one for the same price I wasn't going to spend the extra money just to have a pretty color. ... show more

  • Wonderful ice cooler.
Color: Dark Grey
We go camping a lot. We go any chance that we are able too. We leave our coolers, this being the second cooler, inside of our 5th wheel. We do so because we keep all of our drinks, and some of our food products, in the coolers. Plus, leaving our coolers inside keeps them cleaner, and they are even colder. This cooler has plenty of space, and is definitely a high quality cooler. I love the handles on each end. They are definitely very strong and easy to hold onto. I need to also add that the thickness of the walls are just perfect. We are able to carry our cooler, and yet it will contain all of our food and drink needs. We really like this cooler so much that we ordered a basket, and a separator to make it more conformed for our needs. It's my favorite ooler for sure. ... show more

  • RTIC 65
Color: Olive
Great cooler. I’ve been waiting a while to pull the trigger on a new cooler and this has been a good purchase. Holds ice for several days and is very rugged. I would definitely buy the cooler again and I’m very happy with my purchase. It’s sealed very well. I noticed no leakage whatsoever. It may be a little bit heavy, but the keeping of the ice and the drinks cold makes it all worthwhile. The latches on the front or secure and tight. Love the color. The handles appear strong. ... show more

  • Quality control issues.
Color: Tan
Better quality control needed. I was questioning the ice retention rate of this cooler because one bag started to melt within a few hours. When opening the lid I noticed condensation on both sides on a 6inch area where the seal was not making contact. When I ran my finger on the gasket between the two separations I noticed it was glued together in a few places so that the seal never mated to the cooler correctly. After removing excess glue the seal became functional. Over all the ice chest is built with quality and the ice retention has increased after the fix. Would recommend. Good value. ... show more

  • Best cooler purchase in a long time
Color: Tan
I've had 12volt/propane camper fridges for nearly 8 years now and after the second one failed I went back to a cooler. With lots of research I went with the 65QT RTIC over a Yeti. What I have discovered is: - Use Block ice over cubes to maintain coldness and keep things organized. - The cooler stayed cold with 0 issues for a 4 day weekend sitting outside protected as much as possible from the sun. - It is extremely heavy when loaded. - I freeze water bottles to help keep things cold and have as much meat frozen at the beginning of the weekend. The water comes home still frozen and the meat is starting to defrost. - With the way I pack the vegetables and fruit have a tendency to freeze if not packed properly. Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase and I don't need to worry about food spoiling. ... show more

  • Good product
Color: Tan
We are excited for this ice chest because we heard it’s a good quality at a decent price. We have replaced our old Igloo which didn’t hold ice very well with this one. The walls are thicker and it seals great. We can’t wait to put fish in it.
