Cute claw game that my 9yo is enjoying. Controls are basic and not complex - essentially the claw moves along a strict arc. There's no X-Y axis option, just follows the arc. So good for simplicity, but less so for those who want more range of motion. Out of the box, this was a bit confusing to set up bc it had a USB-C charging port, plus a slot for 4 AA batteries. Unfortunately, there was no instructions, so it was trial and error. Long story short: we couldn't use it w just the 4 AA batteries; we charged it and unplugged it, but it wouldn't work; then we kept it plugged via USB-C on a battery and that worked. Bc of the confusing powering setup and lack of instructions, I took off a star. It's loud but generally fun especially with the little stuffies and egg-shaped containers included that the claw capably grabs. If you're looking for something simple for the kiddos, this will work. ... show more

    • Cute but very hard to pickup prizes
The machine and small toys are adorable. My claw machine loving 5 year old was super excited to receive this gift. Unfortunately we both found the claw very difficult and frustrating to use. Toys were more likely to be pushed out the opening than actually picked up by the claw. Because of the small size, if the machine was too full of toys the claw didn't have enough space to open. Even if it wasn't overly full and the claw was perfectly positioned over a toy, it hardly ever actually held onto a toy. I know claw machines aren't supposed to be too easy, but for an at home toy it seems like the design could use some work to make it more user friendly. ... show more

We got this as a reward system and it's been so much fun putting different treats in the capsules and my niece being excited to try and get them! The volume controls for the sound are greatly appreciated and having the option of powering it by USB works out great instead of having to worry about having batteries on hand. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I really like that it runs on a USB cable or 4 AA batteries. It's super easy to use – just turn the cat's head to open it and put in prizes. Move the levers to grab a prize. I can see this being used in lots of fun ways!
