My boyfriend and I each got one of these before a trip to Hawaii. The directions that came with the jacket were for a different model, but it was easy enough to figure out. It was easy to pack and bring in our beach bag. Also easy enough to even wear into the water and inflate once you need them (or to deflate if you want to go under water). We used them when snorkeling and they held us both up perfectly on top of the water. When flat on the surface of the water snorkeling, the vest was comfortable, however if you are treading water with it on, the neck part kind of rides up. Iā€™m not sure if I would use this if I was doing any extreme sports, but perfect for snorkeling. Totally worth the purchase and we will be bringing it with us to Costa Rica next! ... show more

If you snorkel or are planning to try snorkeling this is worth the purchase. Let's you float for hours in a comfortable position. It's foldable to small compact size. Best to purchase for the price and own it then to rent something equivalent for about the same price. We had endless hours of floating around snorkeling....you should try it too. ... show more

we bought a couple of this inflatable swim vest jackets & took them to the Caribbean Island with us. They are easy to pack and don`t take much space in your luggage. They are easy to put on /off & easy to inflate & deflate. We used them in ocean water several time & they held up pretty well. This is a must have to minimize the potential risks of swimming in natural waters, especially while doing it in a foreign country you don`t speak the language & there aren`t posted water safety signs & labels. This is a great, packable life jacket if you're a good swimmer that just needs one because it's a good idea anyway. It was easy for me to use in and out of the water. My wife had a little trouble with it, but she's not the fish I am. I cut the strap that is supposed to - ouch - go between your legs, and it works just fine. Made of durable material, easy to inflate. However meeds to be designed different. The device tends to ride up toward your neck, unless the strap that goes between your legs is tightened to extreme. The strap around the waist didn't help alot.
